Which is worse, Super or GT's power scaling?

I just remade my power level list again, and this time I've incorporated all the most retarded things about both that are true but that I never wanted to accept. They both have horrendous power scaling, but which is worse?

Super. Up until the Shadow Dragon arc I've had relatively little problems putting a GT list together.

GT isn't really bad. Things don't make a lot of sense at times, like SSj3 Goku (Baby) < Oob < SSj Goku (S17), but otherwise it's straight forward.

Super's anime scaling is all out of whack, though. The manga is far easier up until the Black fight.

Both series make the mistake of believing they need to keep increasing PLs like crazy for the plot to be good.

Super definitely has worse power scaling, although I'd argue entertainment wise, Super is superior.

GT's power scaling is still fucking terrible because Goku gets all kinds of random boosts including going from weaker than pre-fusion Oob apparently in SSJ3 to stronger than him in his fused form in SSJ (not to mention SSJ2 Vegeta did also), but I guess it's consistent in the regard that Goku gets unexplained boosts 24/7 and few others really do. It's still obviously shit, almost as shit as the latter half of the Boo saga in Z (anime) considering you need to asspull explanations to even compare randomly different feats in BSDB, Baby and S17 and half of them won't even work (Vegeta keeping Baby's boost makes no sense since none of the other people that were possessed did, but he's clearly stronger from being possessed for no reason).

It also has no sense of consistency to when and where people actually transform with base Saiyan bullshit rivaling Movie 10 happening nonstop, not that it's surprising for Toei but it's definitely detrimental in an actual series and not just an out of continuity movie. Super has less of these, although it was written by AT at its most basic level.

Super's is all over the place (Merged Zamasu's shit especially), although the filler episodes like Hit's return at least help to clarify how Goku seems so much stronger in SSJB near the end of the Black arc compared to U6 where he needed to multiply his power ridiculously to keep up with Hit's haxed timeskips. They also did explain some of the more ridiculous ones like SSJ2 Trunks keeping up with SSJR Black and Future Zamasu in episode 57 by saying his power actually increased exponentially from training with Vegeta for a day in V-Jump :ladd :ladd :ladd

Super; hands down ! At least you can reason with some of it in GT. Super doesn't even get that. For example, SSJ Trunks being able to perform better against SJR Goku Black than he did against his base form. No matter how you look at it, this is pure nonsense. And let's not even get started with Goku keeping his Godly ki in his weaker forms, which raise a lot of inconsistencies.

Manga version also has its own problems since the fight against Black, but it's still far more tolerable than in GT or Super.

There's no reason to believe there is a decent threat until Rilldo in GT or a character actually stronger than Z until Baby.

Super on the other hand increases Beerus' power unnecessarily, made portara fusion trash, and makes characters slower than a motorcycle. It is truly a cluster fuck and power level lists should be retired for good.

You forgot Krillin's bullet. I was half-expecting Dende to get the first aid kit.

Toei pretty much fucked up the Boo Arc, GT, and Super with their bullshit. The best part is that both Boo Arc and Super has at least a manga where less inconsistency can be found and GT has none. :toei

Let me put it this way: in Super #64, Vegeta stomps Goku Black thereby making him the strongest one of everyone present, in Episodes #65 and #66, Goku can not only survive the attack of a pissed off Merged Zamasu but his bare Super Saiyan Blue power is strong enough to break through it while the COMBINED power of Blue Vegeta and Ikari Trunks couldn't do jack shit to the same guy who was holding back. Goku is just randomly, for no good reason, significantly stronger than Vegeta now!

Or how about Episode #57 where Trunks and Zamasu aren't getting rofl stomped by Black and Goku respectively with Trunks fucking surviving a Kamehameha from Black that's meant to severely hurt Goku.

There's no debate here, Super is utter nonsense. GT just made everyone randomly really, really powerful (except Pan who fluctuated) in Super EVERYBODY randomly fluctuates in power, sometimes within the same exact episode for no good reason!

Super for sure. GT makes a lot of sense compared to Super.

Super Manga ~ GT >> Super Anime as far as power consistency. Most of the main cast's boosts in GT are somewhat explainable through the power ups they received via headcannon (Goku's lower forms becoming attuned to his SS4 power to explain his constantly rising power, for example). The only problems GT tends to have in it's scaling tend to be more attributed to the supporting cast, and most of them tend to just be from fans looking too far into what isn't that deep. The only power ups in GT I'd view as being as bad as Super's anime are the main trio's increase in power from the Start of GT to the battle on M2 and Pan's Evil Dragon Arc hax, and even they're explainable through Zenkais and Pan's potential (something carried over to Super) respectively.

Super's Manga is pretty consistent with it's scaling up until the Vegeta VS Black fight, though I'd chalk that up to Vegeta training his base and SSJ forms to lessen the difference between his SSB form (like Toriyama said was going to happen with Goku). The only real problem with it's scaling is all the U6 fighters being able to compete with post-God Goku & Vegeta's lower forms, as can Piccolo, though that's not really an inconsistency and mainly just bad writing.

Well, in Super's manga, Goku and Vegeta weren't stated to keep the SSJG power, so even that isn't much of a problem.

Their feats more than imply so, however. For instance, Base and SSJ Goku being able to avoid being oneshotted by Hit, or SSJ Black catching up to SSB Vegeta fairly quickly.

I really do not have much problem with thinking that the SSJ2 multiplier for Vegeta (vs. Goku Black), grew out of proportion. Total Vegeta has neither SSJ3 nor SSJG. I have the SSJ2 multiplier for Vegeta, almost with the same SSJG multiplier.
