Whiteboard vs Kaido

How does this play out? Old WB was said to be the world's strongest man and was able to manhandle the Admirals even while half dead. He wasn't able to use Haoshoku or likely any advanced Haki. Kaido is currently in his prime and has advanced Haoshoku, Future Sight, and extreme durability (like WB). Is Kaido really that much better than Old WB?

True, but his DF is so OP that it could maybe tip the scales.

So is the fruit the main reason why he was still the world's strongest man? Or was he really not the world's strongest man at that moment but Sengoku was merely giving him respect.

I don’t really have any strong opinions on it either way, but I think a large part of his epithet was the DF I think.

Thinking on it though, I don't think Whitebeard even has the stamina to keep up that momentum. Kaido has shown to be an endurance freak of nature, so he'll likely win through a battle of attrition.

I think it all depends on how much internal damage his fruit can do.
