Not much. Tien just prolonged the inevitable. The events would have turned out the same except assj Vegeta would have never beat semi perfect cell the way he did. lol

I'm going to have to say SSJ3 Gotenks and Ultimate Gohan being overhyped. I do agree that they are far stronger than SSJ3 Goku, but I put them around 25x stronger. 1,000x stronger is a little overboard in my opinion.

I've divided the most overhyped characters into categories:

Morality: Goku [a complete and total clueless guy]

Strength: Gogeta [strong, but not nearly as strong as fanboys would like you to think]

Importance: Tenshinhan [overall fairly irrelevant; could be yanked out of the story and little to nothing would change]

Intelligence: Piccolo [is, at best, of average intelligence, and does a LOT of questionable actions]
