Who was stronger between SSJ Vegeta and Magetta?

SSJ Vegeta only won against Magetta due to a ring out from hurting his feelings, but I never got the impression Magetta was actually stronger than Vegeta just very, very resilient due to his robotic anatomy.

Yeah I'd say the heat and Magetta's durability were the reasons why the fight looked close. Vegeta had the upper hand in terms of battle ability.

Vegeta is stronger but Magetta's toughness and he had the advantage which made Vegeta struggle during their fight.

Vegeta is superior. Magetta's body being some mix of Katchin, Adamantium and Mithril combined with the heat he omitted was what gave Vegeta difficulties. I never understood why Vegeta didn't just use Super Saiyan 2, unless he was just trying to challenge himself.

just told everybody he'd be eliminating SSJ2 and SSJ3 from everyone's libraries before bringing them back on a whim, so I guess that's why Vegeta wasn't permitted to use SSJ2
