Why are Future Androids more evil than Present Androids?

With the future androids being somewhat weaker than the present ones, the future Z fighters may have been seen as more of a threat, so the androids committed first blood. After this they were more desensitized to death which led them on a darker path.

I do feel like 16 was a major contributing factor. Aside from needing to kill Goku, he was a chill ass motherfucker and it rubbed off on them.

There really is no other reason why they'd be so different, he's the only anomaly from their future path.

The fact they were much weaker made them easier to control and act in line with Dr. Gero's vision of being a mindless killing machine, but they were still strong enough to rebel against Gero himself.

19 was weaker than Freeza before absorbing Goku's energy so course Gero could control him without a fuss.
