Why do people have a problem with Bebi Vegeta being stronger

Generally because Vegetto fanboys can't bear to see him be surpassed by a lowly GT fighter such as Super Baby Vegeta 1. That, and some people take the garbage promotional material (I think that's what it is), which states that Vegetto may be stronger than Super Saiyan 4.

I don't have a problem with it. Sure Vegetto was awesome but he never really made a lasting impression of me besides "Most Powerful Character In Z" prior to Battle of the Gods. I never believed the SSJ Vegetto >=< SSJ4 Goku thing, it seemed like TOO big of a stretch to me. I have no problem with Baby > Vegetto. I put Base Baby Vegeta above Vegetto infact.

For the same reason that I used to think that Super Vegetto (Boo Arc) was actually relevant to Beerus at one point. Shocking right?
Super Vegetto was shown to be a beast of his own. He made Gohan-Boo, who was several times stronger than the version of Majin Boo that made SSj3-tier beings look like trash, look like trash. What's not crazy about that?
GT's lackluster feats made GT seem weak compared to Vegetto, so there is that, too.
I do agree, however; this Vegetto wanking and GT hating is very lackluster on its own.

Nobody should have a problem with that. There were the days where people tried to argue that Vegetto was relevant to Beerus & could be equal to him at Super Saiyan 2, and defeat him at Super Saiyan 3. However, we've got implications & an interview from Toriyama to suggest the following:
a) Vegetto Ssj3 (BoG/Db Super) >=< Vegetto Ssj3 (Boo Arc)
b) Beerus (5%) > Vegetto Ssj3 (BoG/Db Super/Boo Arc)
c) Super Baby Vegeta 1 > Vegetto Ssj
d) Baby Vegeta Golden Oozaru >=< Vegetto Ssj3 (Boo Arc)
So as a whole, this is how I view it:
Goku SSJG (Initial) >>>> Beerus (10%) >= Goku Ssj (Failed SSJG Ritual) >= Raging Vegeta Ssj2 > Beerus (5%) > Goku Ssj4 (Friends Energy) >= Goku Ssj4 (Baby Arc) > Baby Golden Oozaru >=< Vegetto Ssj3 > Super Baby Vegeta 2 > Majuub > Super Baby Vegeta 1 > Vegetto Ssj
I also don't see Goku in GT making any increases up until he surpasses his limits.

I always considered Goku to have gotten stronger over that time. He went from needing SSJ to defeat Rild easily to trashing Freeza and Cell in Base Form later on. If you believe Freeza and Cell are far and above Rild, it shows tremendous growth on Goku's part.
He also had good reason to go all out against Lood since Pan was in immediate danger, possibly even considering his SSJ3 when remarking on Lood's toughness.
