Why does SS3 make Goku’s tail golden but not SS1

Since SS3 Goku only appeared once in the anime with his tail I wonder if this was just an animation oversight or if the design was deliberate. In video games like BT3 SS3 GT Goku’s tail is brown so I’m leaning towards it being an oversight/inconsistency in that one scene

It's supposed to be gold. The one time it wasn't in the S17 arc was the animation error:

It wouldn't make sense for SSJ3 to make the tail golden but not SSJ s8nce Golden Oozaru makes the tail fur golden and it's just SSJ stacked onto regular Oozaru

Interestingly they also made Bardock's tail brown in the Episode of Bardock.

That's because SSJ and SSJ3 GT Goku are literal reskins of base Goku with different skin tone and hairstyle
