I don't know why, but GT has a strange "dark" vibe. Like, it's animation sends me a lot of strange vibes, while DBZ was a lot greener imho. Is it just me?

Okay i'm standing by my earlier reply with Roshi.
It's very plausible for Roshi to become as powerful as he was in ResurrectionF
.............But this OMG.

Shortly after defeating Future Cell, Future Trunks became much stronger thanks to his continuous training and was successfully able to defeat Dabura. Nine years after defeating Future Cell, In his base form he is capable of blocking and deflecting Black's attacks and in his Super Saiyan forms he is able to knock back Goku Black and hold his own against him for some time. Also Super Saiyan 2 Future Trunks (without using his maximum power) was shown to be able to push back Super Saiyan 2 Goku, however he was no match for Super Saiyan 3 Goku, who was able to block his full power attack with just his fingers. Though quickly defeated by the older Saiyan, Goku along with Beerus and Whis are highly impressed with the power Future Trunks has - which is quite impressive considering that Super Saiyan 3 Goku previously during Battle of Gods did not possess sufficient enough power to impress Beerus and he referred to Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta as being utterly pathetic.

While sparring with Vegeta as a Super Saiyan Blue, Future Trunks was able to use his wits to momentarily catch Vegeta off guard but ended up being overpowered.

In the manga Goku notes that even while suppressed Future Trunks' power is greater than Gohan's was previously at the Cell Games, and Vegeta notes with surprise that Future Trunks' full power as a Super Saiyan 2 is about equal to Super Saiyan 3 Goku, shocking Goku - who quickly powers up to Super Saiyan God in order to defeat Future Trunks.

Well combining Grades with AscendedSaiyan isn't nor should it be an impossible task, for any Saiyan transformation really.
SuperSaiyan Grade forms weren't explained to be exclusive to one state of transformation, it was a representation of how transformations could be increased & the benefits as well as drawbacks of each Grade, the wrecklessly powering/bulking up when not mastering the state of any transformation.

It's something as said Vegeta, Goku, even PerfectCell has done & each saw the Grades as a disadvantage. That's why they don't use or skip them completely.

I think Trunks fighting a God tier [Black] allowed him to get stronger that surpasses SSj Vegito.

I think Trunks fighting a God tier [Black] allowed him to get stronger that surpasses SSj Vegito.

Looking at the clip & seeing what's what i think it's just over hyped Grade 3 being used as an AscendedSaiyan.

It's completely backwards for Beerus to be impressed by that & not be by how Vegeta didn't use Grade 3 AscendedSaiyan & still tagged him multiple times after taking a punch.
