Will Shanks end up fighting Luffy?

Probably not an outright fight but I can imagine a clash that splits the sky.

I think Shanks will be defeated by one of the villains but he might end up clashing to test Luffy.

Gonna say no. Luffy might attack him over Bartholemeo, but they won't fight properly, because Yassop and Usopp have to meet amicably. Shanks protects many people and fully grew up as part of Roger's crew, which makes me doubt that he'll turn out to be in league with the world government. There's nothing the celestial dragons could've offered him to make him abandon being a pirate. Only thing I can think of is if they plan to let him become pirate king/find one piece, in exchange for him suppressing the truth.
