Yamcha (Saiyan Saga) vs Gohan (Saiyan Saga)

I think Gohan is stronger in raw power, honestly. Yamcha wasn't much above the Saibaimen (I have him 1.1x stronger, i.e at 1,320), yet Gohan was said to be "about 1,500" at Namek. I am on the fence about Gohan receiving a Zenkai post Vegeta fight considering his injuries weren't nearly as serious as Vegeta and Goku's (the only ones stated to have been benefited from the fight) and I'd honestly just give him a power boost based on his image training with Kuririn in the spaceship.

Saibaimen - 1,200
Yamcha - 1,320
Gohan - 1,400

That's honestly what I'd go with, in which Gohan has an advantage in raw power. Dunno if such is enough against Yamcha's advantage in battle experience and skills. Could go either way.

Yamcha stomps IMO. Even being really cocky, he's a skilled fighter and i give him a big power advantage on Gohan, while Gohan was just a scared kid on this point. But if Gohan gets mad Yamcha is screwed.

In-character, Yamcha would win due to Gohan not liking to fight at all at this point. If for some reason he wanted to, I imagine Gohan would win with high or extreme diff.

I have Gohan at 1,300... However, Yamcha is 1,480 so he wins due to experience too

Gohan may be stronger than Yamcha not that but he has a low yuuki and a pussy hence Yamcha wins this fight.

I don't see any reason to put Gohan over 1,000 here. He doesn't seem to be on the same level as Yamcha or the Saibamen, he can't even keep up with the fight.

Yamcha can easily beat Gohan, but he dare not enrage the young lad.

Gohan's 981 reading was his suppressed state. He is much higher than that. The only reason Gohan couldn't keep up was that he failed at feeling their Ki, which Piccolo scolded him for.

As for the fight, Piccolo stated that he wants Gohan's true power to be able to be used at will. So Gohan's enraged battle power of 1,307 against Raditz is his fp during the saiyan arrival. Yamcha has the slight advantage as he is about 1,350 imo.

I agree with FW, Gohan's unsurpress power level should be 1,307. Yamcha is slightly higher and has much more battle experience so Yamcha should win.

Yamcha wins unless Gohan gets enraged. Gohan is too shitty a fighter to win on ~ equal terms.
