Even so there's no way that the way she was portrayed is going to make it to air in a modern production, so she'd have to be at least late high school or first year university student.She was 15 tho, which is HS age in the US. And in medieval times 15-16 was adult age. Hell the age of consent in Japan was 13 during the Meiji era which was only rectified recently.
What always bothered me is how she could go on adventures in feudal Japan for days or weeks on end and still be able to keep up with her schooling in the present. Would make more sense to put it during school breaks.
