Is it just to defeat King and be done for the rest of Wano or do you think he's gonna have another go at Kaido?

He’ll probably be in terrible shape by the end of this fight.

I think if he turns one of his swords black that may be enough. He tanked a combo attack from the two strongest people in the verse and was still capable of permanently wounding Kaido. I actually think it’s a downgrade for him to be struggling against King, unless King/Marco are both relatively close to Yonko level (which isn’t supported ).

I think he needed to make Zoro overpowered by King in order to not make the gap between him and Sanji look substantial. He's having them both need power ups in order to beat their opponents.

It's like he forgot that Zoro was about to cut off Kaido's head. It would've been better if Zoro was revealed to not truly be healed or something along those lines.

So is Zoro downgraded now or is King that strong?

Marco > Zoro doesn't seem implied though. And Marco was clearly stronger than King.

He was beating both of them down at once.

King was 2v1 tho, not to mention ancient Zoans seem to have the highest durability in the series.

No dude, that was a 1v1. Queen was busy with Sanji.

What Marco was doing against King and Queen together was essentially just stalling, with his major advantage being his constant regen. He wasn't able to do any lasting damage to them and to top it all off they weren't even bringing out their best in that fight.

At this point with King seemingly outmatching Zoro, I don't see any room for discussion that Kaido's 2nd in command is stronger than we gave him credit for.

I'm talking about chapter 1006. Marco said it was difficult to hold off two 1B+ bounties simultaneously, though he was still doing it without taking any hits. His stamina gave way because it proved to be too much of a challenge. I agree that he was just stalling, though I'd argue he wouldn't be able to stall at all of he wasn't at least stronger than both of them. We didn't see any of the feats that Marco produced from either King or Queen.

I agree that King is stronger than we have him credit for, but I'm not sure by how much yet.
