Choose 1 Starter

You can pick only one. Which do you choose?

For me it's kind of difficult because I really love all the starters from Gen 1 - 4, and I even like all of Gen 5, though to a lesser degree. The rest (besides Froakie) I don't really care about.

I feel like I'd pick Treecko, just because he's cool and I like the evolutions. There's also a good chance it was my first Pokémon. Well, like a 33% chance since I did play through the start of Gen 3 a lot as a kid.

Charmander. I mean, wtf are we asking here? (joking but ya know) There was never competition. Why is gym 1 in gen 1 considered so difficult? Cuz so many people chose Charmander and not Bulbasaur or Squirtle.

I guess Squirtle would be cool too. I don't really have space for Venusaur or Charizard, like I don't think they fit through most doorframes.

Chikorita kinda looks like my mom, somehow.

I like Cyndaquil. That may have been the first Gen 2 I chose. Defo remember using it (think I used all 3 at some point). The 2nd form looks like a nice pet. Typhlosion looks like it would eat me tho.

IRL I guess Cyndaquil. Unless plant pokemon can grow food, vitamins and stuff. I guess squirtle would save on water costs, which is pretty significant. ANd you can water blast people who bother you, which is better than just burning them alive lol.

Not IRL, but as a fan, then yeh it's Charmander, Charmeleon and Blastoise. My Charmeleon gets a removable shell and water cannons instead of wings.
