Did anyone else think the evil third eye Gomah wanted was Tien's eye?

I thought it was gonna be that, but I guess it's not.
I thought they'd reveal Tien's eye's origin, or have Tien possessed, have Tien's eye stolen or have Tien counter Gomah's eye. Maybe Gomah would be shocked that someone else already took the eye. Or there's a central "evil eye", than Tien's is derived from, and Gomah would take the main one. He could use an ultra powerful tri-beam. His tri-beam can amplify his life force, plus it can steal surrounding people's life forces, like a spirit bomb, but it kills them.

Maybe Tien was given the eye to protect or hide it from demons. Maybe his ancestor stole the eye and was killed, but as he died he passed it to his child, or to his brother or sister. Then the demons came for his body to take the eye - but it was gone! The brother/sister/child had ran away and stayed in hiding, passing the eye on to their child. 50+ generations later, we have Tien (techinically not an ancestor if it was a sibling, but a collateral relative/kin).

Modern Tien is capable of being involved in big battle events (as per ToP), but nowhere near as a central or deciding factor. It didn't come to mind.

Dragon Ball tends to go down the brute force route as opposed to extreme hard-countering as well.

You clean documents with a rag? Ever heard of tipex? Word processors? Or are you just cleaning the screen of your PC? That's a screenrag.
