Yeah I think using Post Zeta Base Gohan as the fusion power to base Gokan off of is much better nowadays. It also allows for Vegetto to be stronger in a much more reasonable manner.
The Saiyans issue is definitely tough. We have the standard 3/4/5 ratio for them, but I wonder if it's a lot more.
I think that Initial Buu vs Fatigued Vegeta is the key to really figuring it out. Also, Vegeta not gaining one inch on Goku over 7 years feels right. We just are anti-bloat and are...
I would always assume something is 1 to 1 unless otherwise specified.
I think Gero absorbs energy on a 1 to 1 level, which makes one believe Super Saiyan is a 10x boost. That's how the author envisioned it and it shows in his predicitons.
Super Saiyan 3 is also likely a 10x boost, considering...
People who are maxed out. If Goku trained another year in the Rosat he probably wouldn't even get 1.1x stronger.
It has everything to do with potential and nothing to do with time. We've seen Goku increased his power probably 100 fold with a zenkai, yet his power up over 5 years from the 23rd...
I've usually went with that, but there's plenty of evidence to suggest the gap is still just the same.
Here's the issue. Do you think Vegeta closed the gap on Goku at all? You think he closed it a good portion, but didn't fully close it?
The Buu meter should be linear. Cell was absorbing...
I don't think Piccolo has to improve that much. 800 to 6,000 seems a bit too much all things considered. Sure, Cell Saga demands he get stronger, but everything else we've seen makes him still feel Androids level. He doesn't feel like he's all that different.
A 1.5x boost might be the most...
Indeed. Vegeta sold his soul to catch up with Goku. At the Cell Games, Vegeta was insurmountably behind Goku, that shouldn't have changed in the Buu Saga.
Vegeta should be 60-66% of Goku at best in the Cell Games and Buu Saga.
You just disagreed with yourself. You just said that Majin Vegeta should be able to beat Buu, but now when you see how the math would look, you disagree.
Logically, you should reverse this thinking. You should assume what you believe is true and then allow for the math to account for that...
Gohan is terrified of Buu's initial power, yet Vegeta thinks it's a joke. Gohan also thinks that Buu isn't all that terrible of a threat, if he could unleash his full power.
Do you guys feel like Majin Vegeta, even as exhausted as he is, which by calculations should be Majin Vegeta - Ssj2 Gohan...
Different cultures and times view things differently. America has had a real awakening of certain things we used to think were appropriate but clearly are not, especially regarding women. Pedo jokes have always been very weird and Japan’s culture seems to really dive into this kind of comedy...
That’s why the rage boost makes it easier, by allowing Kid Gohan and Goku to be respectably lower it opens up room. I’m not sure if you see it though. CG powers being lower significantly than Buu Saga makes life easier for the kids. Do you see it?
I don't think Vegeta > Kid Gohan is all that bad, the massive amount of progress suggested by Vegeta seems to imply it. Vegeta surpassing Kid Gohan seems about right, by how much would be another story.
And then the difference between Vegeta and Goku is the rage boost for Kid Gohan. I kind of...
Agreed. I don't think the boys have to be uberly strong. As close as we can to Cell Jr but it doesn't have to be super perfect.
Indeed it does. There's a lot of things that prove Gohan was only a Super Saiyan. This is one of them.
I do think there may be a potential error though with Gohan being so close to Goku here.
Fatigued Majin Vegeta/Goku >> Initial Buu
Right? Now Gohan needed his true strength to probably beat him... Hmm..
