There's your problem.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe the very fact that base/4th form Freeza(whom Goku is close to) are competitive to U6 SSJs in the ToP is the evidence that U7 Saiyans powered up? The Zamasu saga gives good evidence of Goku and Vegeta getting stronger, which means if...
I don't think it's exactly stated that the power level Goku sensed was equal to Kid Buu. Uub being a child with Mr. Buu+ level power would confirm he's Kid Buu's reincarnation.
The anime keeps Goku's line about saying someone other than them(he an Vegeta) or Buu might win. With Kid Buu as the strongest Buu, this becomes a contradiction if you have base Goku near to that level, as he should be so far ahead of Buu that Buu couldn't possibly win. Goku Groupons himself...
Yeah well there are always exceptions to typical things.
Just saying it could be either past or current Buu judging only from Goku's quote. I'll have to try different GT scales to see which is more accurate.
Mr. Buu is a respectable power regardless. There is also the fact that Goku looked stoic rather than flabbergasted, which could downplay the ranking he was giving. He wasn't like "oh my lord! He's even stronger than Buu!! Guhh.. *trembles*"
Maybe it's like he's replacing a better arm so it costs a little more than before but still not a whole lot.
An average Joe replacing his car would hurt his wallet for a $20k car, but a millionaire replacing a $200k car would not feel it as much, even though it's a premium car.
@Power Level Guy
Well if Rilldo is stronger than Kid Buu it's odd that he's saying that to Pan since she wasn't alive when Kid Buu was around. He could have said "Stronger than Uub." It implies there's a Buu not equal to Uub who is weaker than Rilldo that Pan would be familiar with. The only one...
It was in Twitter/X. Someone asked if GT is the official sequel to the Z anime and Koyama said yes.
I think what may be holding you back is assuming Uub should become as strong as Kid Buu by episode 1, but that's not really explicitly confirmed. You could scale Uub weaker and he gets his Kid...
Koyama said GT is the continuation of the Z anime. There's also the fact that GT makes direct references to anime exclusive things like the portrayals of the tuffles as human-like in appearance. It doesn't do any good to imagine GT as based on some imaginary version of Z that has traits of the...
Golden Oozaru makes more sense being 10x SSJ3.
Base/SSJ Baby-Vegeta had SSJ3 Goku on the ropes.
SSJ3 Goku: 400
Baby-Vegeta: 450
Then strongest forms 1 & 2 could be analogous to SSJ2 and 3. Not necessarily true, but it's the only reference to draw from. Could even be less without contradicting...
I think it means the hairstyle doesn't change. Like how animals shed air past a certain length so it remains the same length. In humans his only applies to body hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. So in Saiyans it grows to whatever shape and length then is shed and replaced before it can grow longer.
If you take it as a statement of absolute value rather than relative value, then you could say it implies Baby-Vegeta > Kid Buu/Buuhan > Rilldo = Mr. Buu.
