Anime/Manga subforums

It has come to my attention that we likely need a few subforums for anime and manga.

Which anime and manga require their own sections? I will delete these sections if they do not receive enough activity.

Also would you rather see it as it's own section below the general sections, or a subforum within the general sections?

Definitely One Piece and that's not because I'm a fanboy, either. I've advertised on One Piece boards all over, and it's the best selling manga in history. On top of that, DBZF doesn't have a One Piece subforum.

I agree on that. Perhaps if there is a OP forum then some of those people will be willing to join...

I also wouldn;t mind a yugioh forum as I know there are a lot of avid players/watchers/readers here.

OP is fine, maybe Yugioh too. It doesn't really matter to me cause I don't watch shows that need an entire section haha

I feel like we need another manga section besides One Piece, although I'm not quite sure what. Nothing horrible like naruto and bleach, though.

I'm also personally against the idea of a Yugioh forum. The franchise is practically dead at this point.

How about Hunter X Hunter? Sure, the Manga is chicken scratch, but the story is good... ish.

Plus a lot of F members are fans of it.

Pokemon comes to mind which hasn't been mentioned. Its not anime/manga exclusive per say, but with games, shows, movies, and cards, it covers a whole lot of ground.

Also, for the futute, perhaps a general sci-fi/fantasy subforum in general entertainment. That might cover a broad base with (star wars, lotr, star trek, GoT, Marvel ). You know I'd hang out there!

I'm in full support of a Toriko forum, but I don't know about everyone else.

Also, I was about to suggest that Pokemon should be a subforum under Video Games instead of Anime since most people would probably talk about the games more, but then I realized we didn't have a Video Games section. Should we add one or stick Pokemon under General Entertainment?

Alright... Here's the best idea I have in mind, due to my experience in running forums.

Anime/Manga:
One Piece
Naruto (possibly, it sucks but it's still part of the "Big 3, and there's the Naruto Gaiden)
Toriko (It replaced Bleach)
General Anime
General Manga
Versus Versus

Entertainment Section (Since there's a big demand in scraping it):
Sports
Music
Television & Films
Books & Comics
Video Games

More forums and subforums will be necessary in the future, but this is good for now.

I think a Pokemon sub forum should cover all things Pokemon wherever it goes. That way it funnels a maximum amount of activity. Might be inviting to younger crowd too.

If a sci-fi/fantasy sub forum would take away from general entertainment, then it is not needed. However. If it can house more in depth, fanboy discussion that might cloud the regular forum, then I think it works.

There are a lot of things that could be said, but personally, I think it's fine the way it is. You'd have to eventually make a thread specifically for ANY anime/manga as soon as someone post about it, sooooo...
