Are Blackbeard, Luffy and Shanks actually stronger than the pre-skip Yonkou?

Are they individually stronger than Big Mom, Kaidou and Whitebeard?

I think they’re definitely stronger than Big Mom. As far as Kaidou and Whitebeard go, I’m honestly not sure.

Shanks I'd say yes given how he's been presented by Oda recently. Luffy said he was going to surpass Big Mom and Kaido when they started fighting, so I'll take his word that he did given that he beat Kaido. It wasn't 1v1 technically but I don't think any of the other fighters did significant lasting damage to Kaido. Blackbeard is a wildcard. I'm inclined to think yes but he hasn't proven himself yet.

Blackbeard no. He’s huffing and puffing after defeating Law.

Shanks has the best feats and portrayal.

Luffy is roughly on par with Kaido/Big Mom. Maybe a bit weaker or stronger depending on your perspective of the fight.
