Lol I bet on the Patriots and lost :cry

Since I have to ask a question, how do you feel about BLM as a black man? Do you think they're letting the small portion of police homicides that are truly driven by racist intent get blown out of proportion?

That Mt. Rushmore looks perfect! I guess my only issue is there's no Phillies player there. They did bring us a World Series back in 2008 after a long drought. Other than that, those players are definitely deserving of that list.

Kenshi, I'm really not a huge fan of that movement. I liked what they stood for early on, but they've pushed it to something else entirely now. There are definitely shitty police out there and I've been drawn on when mistaken for a robbery suspect. Having said that, BLM gets the wrong message across to people. They're basically saying it's only an issue if a white officer (or white person in general) kills a black. Does that mean the black person that got killed by another black isn't as important? White people are often killed when they end up in the wrong neighborhood, too. It's just something you don't hear about too often. Something like that is usually written off as, "Well, they were in an wrong neighborhood looking to score drugs" and that's it.

When Officer Miller shots and kills Raheem, the outrage is intense. You have marches, cops getting threatened, Social media meetups, and all sorts of things to let the PD know they're for freal. When Darrell, aka D-Money kills Raheem, there's some prayers, some "we have to stop the violence", and then there's nothing. That's the shit I really don't like. Keep in mind that this isn't D-Money's first rodeo; it's something he's been doing for awhile. Worse of all, more times than not, those neighborhoods clearly know who's responsible for the killings taking place and just choose to mind their business instead. Apparently it's more important to ignore what's going on in your own neighborhood, while it's cool to become outraged about a killing that takes place across the country.

I just hate the message it gets across.

I considered that about the Phillies team, but the Mt Rushmore would be more dedicated to "legend status" rather than championships. The 2008 Phillies were a great team all around but not very meme worthy lol.

A.I., DR. JAY, Weapon X and Big Dick Nick all write their own memes.

Also I wanted to highlight your first response directed at Kenshi. Not a comment on BLM so much as what happened there that really bothers me.

I saw the media pumping up BLM for ratings and controversy. It made me feel really bad for folks who truly got behind the movement for all the right reasons. Leading up to the election, for like a year, every time there was a shooting, the news (and social media) would cover it non stop, then incite people who were watching in the hope of creating riots to get more coverage to air on tv.

It was really sad the way the media used BLM, but it happens all the time so long as the content is topical enough. As soon as the election was over, media coverage of BLM dropped like a stone and now we barely hear about them anymore. The election was over and the movement wasn't as worth it, I guess.

It's a shame because there was a real conversation to be had about how militarized and disconnected the police have become in America. But BLM was so politicized (partially their own fault) that whenever white people and black people try to talk, they end up screaming at each other. Any hope of real talk here is gone for years thanks to the likes of CNN and FOX News and countless others.

Like, if a black person tries to talk about police shootings, a white person will counter and say more whites are shot by police every year. Then the black person will say it's different because of proportions. Like, WTF, you both are trying to say the same thing to each other! Listen! But now all each person can see on the other side is Trump or Hillary, not another human being.

Anyway, I wanted to just agree that BLM started off good but really got corrupted down the line.

Yeah, it really messed with race relations, which is not something we need.

While I don't doubt a lot of people were committed to the movement, there were a lot of others who just wanted to create chaos. Not sure if you're aware of the situation in Baltimore where a man named Freddie Gray died in police custody. This was in 2015, which was a yr where the BLM movement was increasing more and more. After Gray passed, Baltimore had lots of violent riots. Countless stores were burned down, officers were attacked, and chaos had basically taken over the city.

You'd see certain people giving speeches during this time to explain their side, but none of this minimized the damage being done. Even black owned businesses were being reduced to ashes because people were acting like animals. This was enough to show there was no logic to what most of these people were doing. It wasn't to get back at the "white man" or the BPD. Most of it was simply to create chaos for the hell of it. The worst part? The killings went way up during all of this.

When police were busy trying to circumvent the arsons and random attacks in various neighborhoods, this allowed the criminals to run amok in the streets and create more havoc. The riots were the perfect smokescreen for the real criminals to come out and do their dirt while the police were unable to monitor their usual areas.

Overall, it's just really sad to see what BLM has become.

What do you think about transgender in sports like UFC, Volleyball and so on? Like, if a man decided to turn into a woman and begun playing those sports professionally, do you think it's kind of cheating?

Don't really like the idea. Even if he transitioned into a woman, he'd still possess the natural strength of a man. It would be pretty unfair.

I remember you used to use Turlast as your username in other forums, right? Why did you choose Turlast? Is it a character?

I was a huge fan of Tullece back in the day. As you can see, I misspelled the name.

What do you think of the ToP in its entirety?

The pacing got pretty annoying at times, and the whole idea of Goku having no energy then being able to transform an episode later was silly.

Outside of that, I enjoyed the characters from the various universes and the battles that took place. The Future Trunks arc is still the best in Super, but ToP is cool.

Would you sacrifice 20 years of your natural lifespan to make Jessica Alba your gf for a year? :manabu

If you asked me this question during the 2005-2009 yrs, I'd say hell yeah.

But I haven't really been into Jessica Alba for a good while now. She was my teen crush for sure, and she's still quite attractive. I just know I wouldn't give up 20 yrs of my lifespan for her.

If there were no earthlings left for Future #17 and #18 to kill, do you think they'd eventually fight each other to the death?

I doubt they'd ever kill each other, but I could see them fighting it out on a constant basis.
