I recommend finishing it it's pretty good

I plan to finish InuYasha. As far as Pokemon Special goes, I have no idea.

I recommend reading up to the end of the Ruby/Sapphire arc in Special, as it's a good point to decide if you want to continue further. It only takes 22 volumes to get there which is only around the same amount of time it takes for Inuyasha to get the first real power up to his oversized phallic symbol sword.
