@Kidbuu55, what you think is poor logic is not always the same as what other people think is poor logic. If you have a different opinion and want to debate with someone against theirs, that's fine, but don't pointlessly neg rep people's posts.

Again, I'm not against a difference of opinion, I specifically downvote posts were the logic "shoddy" at best. Especially if it's AFTER it's explained why it's faulty in the first place.

I'm not one for personal attacks, but instead of dissecting why he doesn't agree, he attacks me personally. He can have a downvote - or 5.

Personal attacks can be reported if they bother you that much. Revenge repping and more specifically going to other threads just to downvote posts that aren't even relevant to your argument with the person you're arguing against is just petty. @Kidbuu55 - It only wasn't shown Goku saying that to Boo. It doesn't mean he didn't. Besides when Boo killed Babidi, he said something like: "I will fight with really strong guys" implying he got a response by Goku.

@Kidbuu55 The line by Piccolo is in reference to Gotenks' strength compared to Super Boo. Piccolo goes from being amazed by Gotenks' power to deeming the situation hopeless when Super Boo forms. In that case, Gotenks is not the strongest because Super Boo now is. Also, I'm pretty sure the boys after the RoSaT simply wanted to use SSJ3 for the cool factor, not because they thought it was necessary.

He knows his power better than anyone-else, so yeah I don't know why they'd say that if it was wrong. On-top of that they already got beaten-up as Gotenks once for being over-confident.

I think Piccolo overstimated him like a fool (he pretty much facepalms at himself for thinking Gotenks can actually do anything in base). If he talked about how "Boo is stronger than he thought" then okay, but he didn't, he came to his sense and later mentioned how he never thought even Gotenks SSJ had a chance defeating Super Boo.

Why does Toriyama have a variety of statements and reactions saying that SSJ pre will get roasted by Boo, but Base post will not? Just because Gotenks was overpowered by Boo doesn't discredit all of these statements.

Because I think this scenario is more up for interpretation. Look at Piccolo's reaction right after base Gotenks got tanked.

I've seen the many times. It does not have to discredit everything that is said. Could it discredit Base Gotenks = Boo? Possibly. Could it discredit Base Gotenks' superiority over his former Super Saiyan state? Hell no.
