Cell ( Real Speed ) should still be weaker than Gohan SSJ

My reasoning is that Cell simply used the true speed of his current level, just like he said :p123 said:
Cell (VS Goku) = 50-70 (power) / 30-50 (speed)
Cell (VS SSJ Gohan) = 50-70 (both power and speed)
Cell (VS SSJ2 Gohan) = 100 (both power and speed)
I don't feel like assuming that Cell's power increased despite the fact that it's not even suggested by himself, because it mathetically "make sense" with Goku's performance despite the fact tjat AT dropped the power levels stuff (and even when he used it, the gaps were far from being always consistent) is less of a stretch.p123 said:

Nothing suggests that Cell was all that more powerful than Goku. If anything, this seems to be what seems most implied imo...
Gohan, Cell and Goku's power all being pretty close, Cell's real speed and Gohan's way above Goku's.
I could also ask you the same question. If Freeza can say he increases just his speed, yet his power increases too, why can't Cell? Cell at least has Freeza's genes in his blood, he does not share Tien's.

Their battle was pretty one-sided until Goku used IT KHH (which weakened Cell, as he regenerated) and beam spam, though. Plus, Goku got speedblitzed by Cell. The gap is clearly not implied to be small, especially when Vegeta even stated that Cell was one-step or two above Goku.p123 said:

Well how could he compliment him on his power? All Gohan has been doing is evading. So part of me thinks the " real speed " quote being about the specific issue at hand being Cell cannot hit Gohan.
Cell says that Goku's claims aren't a complete bluff.
The point being I guess, while Cell is impressed with Gohan, it's not as if Gohan is superior enough to Goku that Cell doesn't want to continue his match with Goku.
It's a tough situation. I'm not sure where to stand.

For this reason I like to have Cell increasing his power too. When a character say he will use his true power we assume that his speed increased too, so why one character said that he will use his true speed we cannot assume that he will increase his power too? Doesn't make sense at all.p123 said:
IMO Cell only mentioned a speed increase because speed is the main issue here, since Cell cannot hit Gohan.
I like to have:
Goku is 88% of Cell ( Vs goku )
Cell ( Vs Goku ) is 83% of Cell ( Real Speed )
Cell ( Real Speed ) is equal to Gohan SSJ.
Looks about right. I like to have Dabura equal to Cell ( Vs goku ).
Well, the fact that he thought that he killed Kid Gohan despite the fact that he only did superficial damage would indicate that he clearly underestimated Gohan's power (or at least, his toughness). This is another reason why I think that Cell didn't powered up against SSJ Gohan (at least, not at the time he increased his speed).p123 said:

Well here's the thing. Everyone is acting like ki sensing idiots when Gohan is brought out to fight. This continues on and on. The issue isn't Gohan power or speed, it's always been that he's a kid, doesn't have warrior spirit and is not tough. These flaws seem to blind everyone about his power.
I mean just think how many times Gohan is not given his props.
Let's also look at everyone's reactions to Gohan powering up.
Everyone's face is filled with shock or fear. Everyone except Goku. Sure they didn't expect Gohan to be so powerful, but still, I think that speaks volumes.
The way Cell talks about Gohan is ridiculous.
I mean just think how many times Gohan is not given his props.
