I was going to post this based on my own opinion alone but decided to make it a larger thread in case I'm not the only one who has an opinion that might not go over so easy in the so called "community". Not that it gets that bad around here, but I've needed to get this off my chest for some time and I know it might not be to popular.

Final Flash sucks. It was cool just one time and that had to do with the presentation rather than the move itself. The anime went a long way towards enhancing the effect. Vegeta's muscles are busting out, veins popping, screaming for five minutes and its everything that a normie thinks of when they hear Dragon Ball and what they think the show is about. Waves crash the the earth shakes. The music kicks up. Trunks and Krillin and piss there pants and shit themselves. Cell too. Then a fucking quasar shoots out from earth and explodes somewhere around poor Pluto. Just all the way awesome.

But every other time Vegeta has used it, the Final Flash has been little more than an instablast. Sure, there's some charge but its about the same time it takes Goku to say Kamehameha. And it never does any damage. It's like the writers forgot that it wasn't about the move but the charge time. Even I could knock over Brock Lesnar if you let me get a running start down a hill. Final Flash never does it for me outside that first time. I'd much prefer the Garlic Gun any day, any time.

Most overused move and underwhelming move in all of Dragon Ball. I wish they'd put it to bed until it really does something.

DB Heroes did SSJB Vegetto justice in the Fu/SSJ4 Limit Breaker Broly arc.

Final Flash is good in the Manga, but it's still overrated. It sucks in the Anime.

Part 1 as a whole is a much more enjoyable experience than the rest of Dragon Ball.

Part 1 is overrated and most "strategies" from weaker fighters just backfire which makes very little difference compared to fights in Z.

On dbzf people (including me) were clamouring for a dbz sequel for years. If Super didn't happen we'd still be fantasising about a return until AT died.

Brief examples?

Kuririn actually almost beat Jackie and Galu in the Budokais though. He only lost because they outsmarted him back.

Not exactly. Galu just stomped him with pure speed at the end of the fight, and the strategy Kuririn used was the same one Galu later used on Raditz. In fact Galu's strategy at the tail end of his fight against Buff Freeza was smarter than the one he used on Piccolo to damage his arm.

Talking about Goku vs Freeza, it wasn’t a game changer but Goku exploiting the fact Freeza can’t sense Ki is one of my favorite strategy scenes in the series.
