how can you put Super-Saiyan 2 Goku and Super-Saiyan 3 Goku in the same tier? That defeats the purpose of a tier list to begin with.

The way it's presented in Super doesn't make it seem like being in a completely different league to SS2 tbh. From a numerical perspective, it is another tier, but from a narrative and feats perspective, they may as well be lumped together, especially depending on how many tiers you separate characters into or what scale (eg. There'd be no point in separating them if you were doing a scale of Top tier, High tier, mid tier, etc.)

True. I think perception and the way something is presented should also be considered. If you were to say Super-Saiyan to Super-Saiyan 3 were all trash-tier now, then you'd essentially lump them all-together anyway. Since they are all trash anyway or presented like that, doesn't matter the power-difference. If you were to do power-specific though, then you'd have to separate them by tier I guess.

SSjin3 consume a lot of power than SSjinB. It's still far ahead than SSjin2 even on Super but if you can use a form that is greater than SSjin3 with less strain issue then why not? Goku hasn't use SSjin3 since against Beerus and that episode where all the villains appeared.
