You are 100% wrong.

Dragon Ball is pretty straightforward. The intent behind Beerus saying that was pretty clear and there is no real reason to doubt it. We can come up with all sorts of complex alternative theories but they don't really have support in the series, they are too convoluted, and seem to be more an attempt to come up with a way to justify the result that we want than actually just follow logically what is presented in the series which is something we should never do (aka try to make the arguments justify the conclusion instead of following the arguments to come up with a conclusion).

Akira Toriyama himself wrote the dialogue for the manga and said:

a) SS Gotenks pre is stronger than SS3 Goku and Fat Boo
b) SS3 Goku is no match for Evil Boo

Therefore; it's impossible and illogical for someone to argue Well Goku is just a big fat liar and I can disregard whatever he says if I don't like it blah blah blah. Are we reading the same Manga? Are we both listening to what the author says? Or is one of us acknowledging what he says and is the other completely disregarding it?

This is another reason why the Daizenshuu is an outdated piece of junk. Akira Toriyama has already established something that holds more authority than the Daizenshuu; Base Saiyans < Organic Freeza. Additionally, the artwork suggests that the Daizenshuu is wholly incorrect.

I do not feel compelled to take it's opinion over the opinion of Toriyama and the artwork that was clearly established within the Manga.

They weren't fighting anywhere near their full power, other-wise the Universe would have collapsed on itself. That much is obvious. Whereas with Android 18 vs the Base kids -Base Saiyans are established as inferior to Organic Freeza, discrediting the theory that they are anywhere close to her in terms of power.

As Super Saiyans, they are a whole lot stronger, but not definitely not before-hand.
