5.5/10 for Yajirobe.

Next up is Lord Beerus, the strongest god in the universe.

Beerus initially had promise as being an unconventional villain, being someone who was just doing his job and cared more about food. However, the more Super has gone on, the more he's been reduced to this being his defining trait as a character. His love for food that predecedes his duties goes far beyond a simple gag or quirk and is instead damaging to his character at this point, with his incompetence leading to Universe 7 being a candidate of erasure. Whilst he started out entertaining, he's now just annoying.

Whis is more interesting due to having a very neutral stance on most conflicts and seeming somewhat uncaring about matters involving the main cast and Beerus beyond the job of the Hakaishin, such as not seeming to care about Universe 7 being erased. However, he's primarily just a mystery box as far as motives go, which doesn't help when most similar enigmas turn out to be far less interesting once their goals are discovered. Beyond this, he has the same problem of eating a lot of food like Beerus being his primary feature as a character.

Majin Buu

2/10

Majin Buu is quite frankly one of the the worst villains in all of DBZ..he just doesnt have the depth, swagger, or charisma of the previous super villains. To me, Buu is more of a movie villain level than a canon level straight out the manga super villain. For him to be the last supervillain of DBZ was a total let down.

Also, his arc dragged on and on, and he kept transforming. His transformations make no sense as well. How can he eat himself and then transform so wildly? Aside from being mindless retard in Fat/Good, Super, and Kid forms...his best forms were his Super forms with absorbtions [ie Buutenks, Buucollo, and Buuhan]. The only problem is Buutenks/Buucollo and Buuhan are all just lamer version of Perfect Cell.

Also Buu's regeneration is maddening. Who cares what your power level is if you can just regenerate instantly, endlessly, and even from molecular levels and beyond. I mean what on Earth is the point in fighting such a creature? Would it not get annoying smashing a guy's face inside out onlhy for him to instantly regenerate good as new? At least Cell's regeneration cost him lots of ki, and he could only do it if his core remained. While Buu's regeneration is obviously far superior to Cell's...it's to a point of such extreme it just gets very stale watching him continuously doing it. I only give him a 2.5/10 and not a 1 because of the Buutenks/Buucollo/Buuhan forms, but even they are just OK, and he still suffers from regeneration hax out the ass. I feel his whole arc was definitely the beginning of the end for the Dragon Balll Francise.

Vegeta's score: 6/10.

After the father, the son, Future Trunks.

If Vegeta had died by Freeza's hands and never returned then he deserves a 9/10. Honestly, it's hard to imagine the Cell arc without Vegeta..BUT Vegeta's character would have been better remembered if he had never returned after Freeza killed him.

Cell arc Vegeta was still cool, but his aura had faded a bit. Not to mention there were points where he was like the 4th/5th/6th strongest character around. Cell arc Vegeta gets lowered to an 8/10

Buu arc Vegeta is like 4/10.

Overall Vegeta is like a 7/10.

How would you guys rate 22nd Budokai Chaozu? I mean, he wasn't a complete jabroni back then...

He still had too little going on with his personality to be described as anything beyond bland, with only his appearance and abilities being interesting (which they stopped being when he lost to Kuririn).

For reasons already stated by CC, he'd be lucky to get more than 1/10 from me.

Chaozu had no purpose in the 22nd aside from being Tenshinhan's faggot slave who organized the matches. Useless clown prick.

Enter the sexiest cyborg in the multiverse, #18.
Bump because #21 makes this redundant. :ahshit :ahshit :ahshit

Are we continuing this? I think it could be interesting to see everyone's take on other major characters in the manga such as Pilaf, Taopaipai, Ginyu, Goten, etc, as well as roasting reviewing GT and more Super characters.

You know, i'd really like to see a character analysis of Broly. Wonder how much under zero he would be…

Captain Cadaver I'm back on the thread.

Next character analysis is...Pilaf

EDIT: I'll remove the 1 day limit for the analysis. It would be too bad to miss everyone's opinion on a character because they missed the day.

In other words: feel free to review a past character too.

Pilaf was a pretty fun villain in his debut arc. He had the quite interesting flaw in being blessed with an array of good weaponry, yet being too incompetent to use it and like with Yamcha and Pu-Erh, the loyalty Shu and Mai show him shows a greater level of comradery between them than with the main cast. Moreover, his childish nature and lack of imagination when it comes to topics of a sexual nature makes him quite opposing to Bulma and Oolong, adding some additional comedy to his ineptitude as a villain. In other words, he's a fine exhibit of the themes that make the Hunt for the Dragon Balls Arc the best one when it comes to characterisation. It was also good that Toriyama didn't forget about him and brought him back at the end of the RRA Arc, as well as the Piccolo Daimao Arc and Super. Unfortunately by then, he could play no role other than a gag character with irrelevance to the plot. Nevertheless, despite his simplicity and short tenure as a capable antagonist, his personality and distinctiveness as an incapable fighter who solves problems with tricks and weaponry makes him a breath of fresh air compared to the horde of 1-dimensional megalomaniacs bent on destroying or ruling everything in their path that make up the majority of villains in the franchise.
