On your MAL, you put Hunter 2011 on a 6 (while lowering stuff like One Piece and FMA to 7s, mind you) saying some low points bring it down a bit (probably Greed Island and Zoldyck Family).

Greed Island is worse than the rest but it's still amazing. Better than all the Naruto arcs at least

Nah number 1 is Hunter then YYH then one piece and then Toriko. Also Jojo is above Toriko but I am not fully sure that's Shonen

Yu Yu Hakusho is worse than Dragon Ball and Kenshin.

Yu Yu Hakusho has more asspulls and retcons. The class system was definitely out of ass, and those faggots from the Dark Tournament got stronger than Toguro in that cave for no reason. Hiei being A class is bullshit as well, as well as his explanation for being A Class.

Hunter is very overrated. Most people rate it too highly. It's better than most Shonen but it's generic, and sometimes tries too hard to be deep. The nen explanations are over the top and too lengthy for one thing... I ain't learning that shit.

@Alex, I haven't. I can imagine that Arc being good, though.

Very overrated? More like underrated. Generic? It's not generic at all. It can be slightly generic, but nothing even close to begin mentioning as a criticism. It doesn't try too hard to be deep. It already is and casually. It's really not, unless you find it really hard. Everyone I know says it's actually done very well.

Chimera Ant Arc is long, but a lot of great things happened in the arc that a lot of people can guarantee it's #1 in the series and probably in the history of Shonen.

One Piece isn't the greatest Shonen. It has a lot of problems. Science that doesn't make much sense. Explanation being sub-par at best. The pace of the series is really bad. It's probably in my top 10, but not really anywhere near the very top.

While I do agree that HxH has doesn't have shit arcs like OP, but OP's best arcs are handled way better to me than HxH IMO.
