Because it didn't injure him enough that his Ki dropped past the point where his body could regenerate, nor did it destroy his core which can seemingly regenerate even if the rest of him is destroyed. It still took half his upper body off, which those generic blasts Goku shot at him during their fight didn't for example (yet hurt him enough for him to resort to his barrier). It not killing him does not mean it wouldn't have been a fatal injury without regen.

And if it was stronger it would have killed him, so it could go either way. Plus, Cell wasn't forced to use a barrier as 17 did with Piccolo.


Cell at the end was laughing of Vegeta, he still could regenerate easily and it wasn't something painful.

I don't know what you are referring to... but painful would be what a kamehameha from Gohan did to him that he was regenerating pretty hard. Also Cell laughing gives something completely different than what you are suggesting. Your comment seems too weird.

I agree, but the problem is, that a kamehameha from Gohan nearly killed him (and Gohan didn't put enough potency to kill him purposefully, whereas Vegeta thought that Cell wouldn't be able to survive), did the others were trying to destroy his core? Is irrelevant before and after Cell's explanation. Cell was on guard by receiving Goku blasts and he walked through Vegeta's blasts though. Cell only took superficial damage by that attack.

Cell is in pain, but knows he's superior. Piccolo does the same with Cell before. That doesn't mean Piccolo literally ripping off his arm doesn't hurt browski, cmon now.

There are three issues with your premises: Piccolo's ki is implied to have decreased by Cell, Cell's didn't. You are using an instance in which Piccolo is still at the upper hand and literally states that he's still more powerful than him, in contrast, you admit that Cell still had the upperhand against Vegeta. In the case of Gohan's kamehameha against Cell, Cell questions why does Gohan have so much power, Cell against Vegeta was smiling and saying that he is joking. Your comment is... ugh... it doesn't make any sense at all.

Cell is literally stronger than Vegeta. I have no idea what you are trying to say. If Oolong found a gun and blew off half of Cell's body, Cell would still be in real pain, I don't understand how it's hard to understand that.

That the Final Flash isn't stronger than Perfect Cell. You are using Piccolo's example with Cell, even though it doesn't benefit your case neither proves your point. Then why was Cell's reaction more like confusion rather than pain and laughed off? It's still unclear.

It has to be stronger than Cell, it literally ripped him to pieces. Cell's reaction has nothing to do with the power of the Final Flash and everything to do with Vegeta's cockiness. The fact that Cell is playing it up doesn't mean half of his body isn't missing.

At that point, Goku could've indeed killed Cell since his core was destroyed, but plot made that something impossible. Cell still had most of his ki according to Goku, but his ki had fell quite a bit, so we can tell that it was powerful enough to weaken him a little bit, so it isn't definitely stronger in my guess.
