Doesn't it look alike? Both enemies are able to keep up with Goku and trade blows with him, but Goku is the one who gets the final word, pushing the enemy back.

And this was 100% Freezer after loosing strength. When he wasn't tired he outmatched Goku's best KameHame, and that's not even taking into account that he was fighting with a fraction of his real full power due to him being badly injured at this point of the fight.

Oh, gawd. The out of energy stuff is pointless to mention because Freeza was still in better condition than Goku before he transformed into a Super Saiyan. So the whole idea of Freeza never being anywhere near his full-power could easily apply to Goku as well. Anyway, I won't derail this topic any further.

Goku and Freeza appeared closer from the get go. After Freeza's warm up that is. After Freeza's Nova Attack, he lost power. So I think they were basically near equals at one point and then Freeza's power starting falling off slowly but surely.

The "I will lose even more power" is clearly referred to the power he lost because of the Genkidama, but if we count 100% Freezer at his optimal conditions, then that fight would've been completely one sided in favour of Freezer.

But that fight (100% Freezer at optimal conditions vs SSJ Namek Goku) never happened, and in the one that happened both Freezer and Goku had a very similar power (with Freezer having a slight advantage) until Freezer got tired. There also was the fact that Goku enraged again and it can be perfectly argued that he had a second rage boost when Freezer said what he said about Krilin, but that better be left for another debate.

Here are my suggestions:


* In It's a Slobberknocker!!!: Goku VS Kid Boo. Both fought blows for blows and none of them were able to take a noticeable advantage. They were at completely equal power. But if Goku didn't called off the fight, it would have been at "Damn this is close".

* In Damn this is close, he's pulling ahead!: Goku VS Piccolo, Vegeta VS Zarbon (2nd round). These two fights were close, especially the former. The second fight notably could have even been in Slobberknocker if it wasn't for Vegeta throwing sand in Zarbon's eyes, thus taking the upper-hand for the rest of the fight.

* In Valiant fight, but resistance is futile: Goku VS Vegeta (Saiyan arc). Goku managed to temporarily take the upper-hand thanks to the Kaioken, even pushing Vegeta to use the Oozaru. But ultimately, Vegeta still dominated most of the fight and Goku never stood a chance.

* In Damn you are getting your shit pushed in homie!: SSJ3 Gotenks VS Super Boo, Majin Vegeta vs Fat Boo, Ultimate Gohan vs Bootenks. These fights were very much one-sided, but the one who was defeated could get some good hits in or at least resist a little.

* In Oh God damn you Are so ded white boy, should have never came around here: SSJ2 Kid Gohan VS Perfect Cell, SSJ Vegetto VS Boohan. The defeated party got their asses handed to them with zero effort and absolutely nothing worked (even their best techniques). Seriously, these fights were so brutally, embarrassingly one-sided that it's amazing that they didn't hide their faces in shame for being so weak

I'd say 100% Frieza's full power is equal to SSJ Goku's. Hell, if skill actually mattered in this series, the fact that Frieza can match Goku even when he's almost certainly less skilled would imply Frieza is more powerful than Goku.

Skill matters a lot in DB, that's why Goku manages to remain above Vegeta despite being much weaker in terms of physical abilities.
That being said, Freezer managed to equal Goku despite being badly injured and having lost a considerable amount of strength, of course he was stronger.
