Freeza's age

So I'm watching the Broly film and Freeza looks like a runt as little as 41 years ago. So how old would this make him in Z? lol

It's a retcon/contradiction. In the manga Bardock looked as he did in the special and Freeza's appearance was no different than his Namek self when he blew up Planet Vegeta.

Hell, Freeza still looked the same as his Z self in Minus. Toriyama was just senile when he wrote the movie.

Assuming Freeza was born not long before Cold announced his retirement due to Freeza apparently being born with power surpassing his own, that'd make Freeza around the same age as Vegeta up until his death against Trunks at the age of 32. That in itself doesn't contradict anything and goes along with Freeza's childish attitude at times (particularly concerning his papa), though his design in the DBS movie is a blatant contradiction of how he's presented in both the manga and Z anime's flashbacks due to it still having this new, immature look after 5 years.

Vegeta was still in his incubation chamber at the time that Freeza introduced himself as Cold's successor to the Saiyans, and Freeza seemed very aware of technology like Scouters and is capable of running an intergalactic empire on top of apparently having already interacted with the likes of Beerus and being regarded as the strongest mortal by him long before Galu's "birth," so I'd say he's still a bit older than Vegeta even if you lowball his age.

They look pretty much the same to me. The only retcon I'd say would be Bardock's appearance when he died.
