Not only that, but another contradiction popped up...possibly. I say possibly because you could write it off as Freeza not wanting to bring up such an embarrassing moment, but alas Toriyama mentioned Freeza getting his ass whooped by Beerus at one point in the past.

I swear, Toriyama reminds me more and more of George Lucas every day.

I remember a dvd extra for Revenge of the Sith. Lucas walk into a staff meeting and hands them a screenplay, which looks to be about as thick as two comic books stuck together.

He laughingly explains that most of the script is filled with, and I quote: "They fight".

So sure. When 90% of your movie is people trying to kill each other, there isn't a need to worry about silly stuff like storytelling.
