I just forgot where I used to rank his power to the canon characters... But we all know that he's definitely stronger than Fat Boo in his fat form and his final form destroyed a haxed SSjin3 Goku.

Galu states that Fat Janemba had the strongest Ki he'd ever sensed. Considering Gotenks could use the SKGA, he likely entered the Rosat and defeated Boo with it in this timeline, meaning Evil Boo still had to appear to warrant such, making the strongest Ki Goku would've sensed by initial Evil Boo.

That said, Super Janemba's probably around SSJ Gotenks (Post-Rosat)'s power.

Considering how the movie was released after Gotenks used the SKGA, it's likely the movie is on a continuity Gotenks killed Buu inside Rosat.

That said, Goku called Janemba "The biggest Ki he ever felt" which in this continuity the last biggest Ki should be Initial Super Buu. Super Janemba is just strong enough to stomp Goku, but not kill him. He's likely trash to SSJ Gotenks.

Boo didn't power up against Base or SSjin Gotenks therefore he was beating the hell out of Gotenks in his suppressed state. He only powered up once he opened a dimension for him to escape from ROSAT. So in short,

SSjin3 Gotenks ~ Super Boo [Powered up dimension] >>> Initial Super Boo > SSjin Gotenks > Base Gotenks.

I might agree with Boo putting an effort in his fight but absolutely no power up. Boo was just standing there and waiting for Gotenks to tell him when the fight begins and yet he tanked Gotenks's punches and kicks like it was nothing and there was no power up noted. Boo's ki is a lie is nothing more than his power is abnormal that he's just really strong. The whole thing was gag.

It can easily be assumed that Boo started putting in more effort upon entering the Rosat. After all, compare Piccolo's unsure reaction of how Gotenks stacked up to Boo when Evil Boo was first formed to him being sure Gotenks stood no chance once he arrived at Kami's temple. Either Piccolo is shit at sensing Ki, or Boo's can easily increase his power without it being similar to your typical power up.

Either everything was for laughs given that Gotenks is all about hype and proven to be false most of time.

I don't see how the scene being gag changes this. It just happens they understimated Buu, after all.

How can they underestimate Buu if Buu was didn't power up at all? He was just standing there like a statue and waiting for Gotenks to tell him if the fight starts or not.

Buu was supposed to be equal to Gotenks but tanked him. It's a similiar situation to when Cell was supposed to be weaker than Vegeta, but then surprise motherfucker! Cell tanks a kick on the head!

And you know the difference between them? Its that Vegeta was already said to be no chance from the beginning by Krillin and will die if he fights Cell. Gotenks on the other hand was completely different, Buu was just standing there waiting because Trunks told him so.

Take a look on Gotenks and Piccolo's reactions. They were both wrong! Gotenks has no chance from the beginning.
