considered powerful or notable? I feel in the original he's more or less supposed to be seen as a joke compared to everyone-else but now he's been promoted to elite supposedly. :bog:bog:bog

In DBS: Broly he shits on Kakarotto for being a low class warrior. Seems like a serious line and not meant to be cheeky, and no one calls him out on it, so I think its trying to shift the narrative a bit from him being of a lower class lineage into Goku himself being low class. This comes through more when it comes to the more recent depictions of Bardock compared to the original special where he's specifically stated to be a low class warrior who out performs his ranking.

Yeah, even Freeza's fodder in his forces (those with the guns) laughed at a level with 1000 or so power I think. It's weird, but like Mystical-Meng said Raditz is also obviously much superior in power to humans in-general. Namekians seen on Planet-Namek were also more powerful than Raditz IIRC.
