Is Kuririn close to #18's PL?

Toei is making Super Saiyan Blue look so awful. It's like they have to shoe-horn it in every fight now even against opponents where it logically makes no sense (Arale, #17, Kuririn, Nink, Trio de Dangers).

- Arale was a gag fight, with her strength being the whole point of the gag, so that made sense.
- Dende still said #17 would be a terrifying enemy for everyone if he was still evil, so he's probably at least not complete fodder to SSB Goku, at least above his regular 3 SSJ forms.
- It's possible Goku couldn't have stopped Nink without it, since needing to reserve Ki was mentioned within the very same episode. Goku likely had no choice here.

The Kuririn and Trio de Dangers usage are indeed illogical, though.

- I wasn't talking about #17's implied power, what I am criticizing is HOW he got to that level in the first place. By just doing some basic training in between being a park ranger. Which is stupid when looking at how much stronger Goku was compared to him at the end of the Cell arc and that he's been doing special, intensive training and obtained haxed god forms yet 17 gets to that same level for pratically no reason.

- I don't understand why Goku couldn't reserve ki by turning into a Super Saiyan 1 and knock Nink off of him. Super Saiyan Blue is straight overkill for such a scrub, besides it's already been confirmed in-universe that turning SSJB doesn't save ki.

Piccolo meditated for 6 days and surpassed Goku who trained from Kaioh in 150 days with 10x gravity and also trained a 100x gravity + Zenkais. That's how DB works!

Super gains don't make much sense in general. Piccolo went from being weaker than FnF Base Gohan to being stronger than U6 Arc Base Goku/Vegeta from a short amount of training, Kuririn got ridiculous gains from just getting his fighting spirit back, Roshi became capable of overpowering Ten by training in secret, etc.

- Likely because Nink isn't as much of a scrub as you think. Using SSB when trying to save Ki, despite it not doing so, likely means Goku had no choice but to use it here.

The fact that 18 forgot she had a barrier just like 17 is PIS, simple as that. Krillin said it was unlike 18 to mess up like that, so the implication is she could've done better solo had she not been fooled. Her and Krillin playing volleyball or whatever with Majora doesn't make me think they're both on even footing, it just makes me think they're both above Majora.

Who's to say 18 has a barrier? We have only seen 17 use it and it's never been confirmed that they have the same techniques.

They're twins, they're the same model with the same data, yet they have don't have access to the same pool of techniques? Seems unlikely to me.

This is what D7 says about it:

A technique where they use ki to create a barrier around themselves, guarding against their opponents' attacks. It can guard against ki attacks and also physical attacks such as missiles. What's more, Vegetto used it to successfully avoid being absorbed by Majin Buu (evil). However, in order to use a barrier, it is necessary to constantly emit ki. To cancel out the physical and ki attacks of their opponents, they must emit ki at least twice that of their opponents. It's natural that No. 17, with his infinite energy generator, was able to use this technique, and since perfect-form Cell took over that infinite energy generator he could use it as well. You can also understand how Vegetto, said to be the best in the universe in everything from ki control to ki strength, would be able to use it too. However, it seems that this technique cannot guard against attacks from those with ki far stronger than their own.

Attributes the barrier to the infinite energy reactor for the androids. 18 has one.
