I think Toriyama's style naturally makes big people bigger than they'd be in our world, but they might not necessarily be all that much stronger or faster.

Antoine the Great is an anime filler character I think, but it seems to be perfect. I think he represents how we view Andre the Giant.

So I don't think we need to make Antoine the Great a literal 12 foot guy here, I think how we typically view Andre the Giant is good enough.

Now, he's not so strict on what a human capabilities are, I'm sure someone like Bear Bandit can do some incredible feats.

But yeah, how strong is Bear Bandit and Pterodactyl compared to the top humans. Antoine the Great is probably smoking the Bear Bandit.

I previously thought the Bear Bandit pretty much beats all of humanity, but I don't think that anymore.

Yeh in terms of his relative size in the world and leanness, HMC could be like Antoine. Andre is fatter than Antoine, but young Andre's build isn't so dissimilar to Antoine.

Giant Haystacks was another large pro wrestler of the 80s. I don't know if Toriyama would know this guy. He did wrestle a couple Japanese guys it seems, but not in Japan. Reminiscient of Bacterian (not to throw shade at Haystacks).

I wonder if the moustache man Curtis posted is comparable to anyone. He looks like Iron Sheikh.

These are some of the largest guys I could find. I find it interesting how the Daizenshuu don't disrespect the Strongman or Antoine for the way they lost to Goku and Krillin, but they do disrespect Puntar by calling him ordinary. These guys are ragdolling the Bear Thief, including that other massive guy who was never named in the 21st preliminaries. That guy is towering over the gorilla who is already massive in its own right.

At the time when Goku/Krillin defeated Antoine/Moustache, it was unknown if Goku/Krillin had surpassed normal humans.
By the time of the 25th, it was known they were far beyond any normal humans. Maybe that's why Puntar is called an ordinary man there. It's a reflection of which point in the story he appeared at. Even Namu or Bora would just be an "ordinary man" if introduced in the 25th. He at least gets a positive comment of "great speed", whereas Antoine/Moustache get nothing to indicate any prowess, so I don't think it's disrespect.

Yeah but the strongman was basically there to show that Goku had become a super human. Toriyama could have used anyone to show this feat, but he makes it some massive, lean, 800lb roided out freak for Goku to one tap lol. His forearms might be wider than Goku's entire body.

How does Hercule fare against strongman, Antoine, that gorilla and the jakked dude next to him?

I don’t think size is everything. It’s a good indicator of power, but doesn’t necessarily determine fights

The best way I can come up with is to hypothetically determine tanking feats.

Like how many people can straight up tank Hercule?

Well Mr Satan > Pintar atleast. Though that would also mean Bob Sapp is stronger than Pintar and I am not sure I see it.
