My analysis of how strong bojack is

This alone speaks a lot if we consider that back in cg, gohan was so much superior to goku, vegeta or trunks:

Goku considers that a fight between gohan and trunks would be awesome when he was the one who give cell a senzu bean and cell neglected fighting trunks, piccolo or vegeta?

This proof alone shows CG gohan > movie gohan

When Bojack appears, ssj trunks is taken down in one kick while being sneak attacked from behind:

This feat is 50/50 considering that he had hardly any time to defend. However, the scene purpose is to tell us that he is incredibly powerful as shown with gohan's and vegeta's reaction similar to android 17 attacking him on which guaranteed a reaction from krillin.

EDIT: someone who is even on strength can do the same thing to trunks

Gohan claims that bojack has an incredible battle power:

*Piccolo gives a kick to bojack

Ssj vegeta vs bojack
*Vegeta and bojack fires blasts to each other
*Trunks says vegeta has lost the will to fight (eg CG vegeta > Movie vegeta)
*Bojack fires a ki blast to vegeta, but vegeta can at least resist the blast unlike piccolo
*Bojack punches vegeta in the face, then a consequent attack and a knee to the back
*Trunks says vegeta can't do much in his condition
*The rest is vegeta being brutalized by bojack while going to his base form as well as bojack going FP is simply overkill for vegeta

Then ssj trunks is defeated in one blast while being sneaked attack

Ssj gohan vs FP bojack
*Gohan can keep up at some exent similar to vegeta but this is a stronger bojack
*Gohan can nulify a blast from bojack (although piccolo can too)
*Bojack punches Gohan
*Bojack acknowledges gohan fought well (unlike with piccolo or vegeta)

In general, given the fights:

FP bojack gap over ssj gohan = base bojack gap over ssj vegeta > base bojack gap over piccolo

ssj gohan = ssj trunks > ssj vegeta > piccolo

Ssj2 gohan vs FP bojack:
*Gohan receives an attack from bojack unfazed
*Gohan punch through bojack chest
*Gohan and bojack's attacks collide
*Gohan eliminates bojack

This kind of domination is similar to ssj2 gohan vs fp perfect cell. As goku say at the end, gohan defeated the guy who piccolo or vegeta couldn't stand up to

Bojack ends up being weaker than CG goku in both lists, this also goes in line with koyama failing to make someone stronger than broly.

Koyama said he and the staff were under the impression that Gohan kept training until it was revealed in the manga that he slacked off, so the movies should be scaled with that idea in mind. I don't think CG Gohan > Movie 9 Gohan due to this, but the opposite. Trunks would have leveled up a lot.

If that is right, then piccolo proves to be capable of sending bojack flying and ssj vegeta despite of being weaker than in the CG is able to keep up with him while throwing ki blasts with him, vegeta is also able to make damage to trunks when he tries to help him, if anything the evidence goes pretty much against your claim of gohan being equally as strong as he was in the CG and trunks leveling up a lot

Someone who is on par/as strong as trunks would have done the same like majin vegeta with ssj2 goku, we never get to see a fair match between ssj trunks and bojack.

I think he could do better, but not a lot. He’s as strong as Vegeta, and Bojack transformed while beating him.

Vegeta is weaker because of lack of yuuki, bojack didn't actually need to transform vs vegeta and he went overkill, vegeta was destined to lose since the moment bojack pushed him back. Trunks would have done better than vegeta.

I think this piccolo is around CG 50% goku level of strength, he is shown to be weaker than vegeta.

Bulma calls vegeta useless, that alone goes on to show how low he has fallen in relation to before and trunks worries about vegeta's condition, it's clear vegeta is not intended to have the same strength as in the CG.

She is not talking about his power level. Vegeta is useless as a partner because he isn't talking an active role in the family. Not everything is a power scaling statement.

Future bulma isn't able to sense power levels yet we know by her that trunks is not that much different from gohan when he got killed by the future androids, which means that she has an idea of what she speaks about.
