The One Piece anime from Toei Animation is getting the remastered treatment starting with the Fishman Island saga, complete with touched up animation, re-shot scenes and a tighter pace.

This is the best Story Arc they could have chosen to remake. Fishman Island is a better Arc in quality than most Post Timeskip Arcs, and it shows off the Straw Hats all fighting together in their most iconic appearances in Part II.

This is the best Story Arc they could have chosen to remake. Fishman Island is a better Arc in quality than most Post Timeskip Arcs, and it shows off the Straw Hats all fighting together in their most iconic appearances in Part II.

It's one of the worst arcs in all of one piece and easily the worst post time skip arc.

It's the best arc to remake because they can fix how terrible the pacing is. They still can't make Hody a compelling villain, or bring any level of stakes to the arc.

Thinking back on this Dressrosa would have been the perfect arc for them to do.
