No way of knowing. Not seen or heard much about Garp's strength or what abilities he has.

My guess is WB, since he was probably fighting pirates still. Garp was training marines so might be rusty due to years without serious fights and weakened due to years without serious competition. Then again, maybe he trained Aokiji, in which case he might not be as rusty and weakened. If they're roughly even, the fight could last days, so Garp (or WB) might get stronger and sharper during the fight itself, but it could be too late if he's already more tired or damaged.

If it’s Marineford WB I give it to Garp since he was dying. If they’re both healthy then I really don’t know, could go either way.

I mean we just saw how old Garp with a stab wound did against Kuzan compared to how Whitebeard did against the Admirals.

I’d say Old Whitebeard based on having better feats.

Garp was able to challenge Aokiji, which while impressive, isn't close to Whitebeard dominating Akainu with half of a head.

I probably agree, but I think we would have to assume Whitebeard would have enough stamina to even be able to put down someone like Garp.

He may not, but if it was WB at the start of Marineford I'd give it to him. He racked up so many injuries by the end of it that his stamina took a huge hit... and yet he was still taking on Admirals.

So would you say there was a noticeable gap between Prime Garp and Roger/Prime Whitebeard? High diff maybe but not extreme?

I think you could argue that Garp’s power fell off slightly more than Whitebeard’s given he was older. I think it would be extreme to high difficulty for either Prime WB/Roger to beat Prime Garp.
