Oob is more useless than Chaozu

At least Chaozu was relevant in the 22nd Budokai, Oob is as useless as Jobhan. His one moment in the limelight was getting stomped by SBV2, and there isn't even a emotional sacrifice or anything! There's people out there who think he's weaker than Pan, and I don't blame them.

Also, DBO Toriyama gave endings for every character except him. Not even a single mention. That's the Yamcha and Chaozu treatment he got right there.

Oob is much stronger than Pan, it is demonstrated in all the sagas, even in the Evil Dragons Arc, Pan is knocked out by a light blow from Xi Ying Long Base, while Majuub managed to hold Yi Xing Long Base for a moment.

Majuub is the 3rd strongest after Goku and Vegeta.

"Chiaotzu was relevant at the 22nd Budokai" Bro literally lost to Kurilin via a math gag in the first round

Oob was wasted in GT, but he got better treatment than anyone else from DBZ aside from Gokuu and Vegeeta. He was equal to base Gokuu in his base form, which made him stronger than Vegeeta, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks even as SS1/2, and he was one of the few people to avoid being taken over by Baby. When he fused with Boo and became Super Oob, he surpassed SS3 Gokuu and SS Baby-Vegeeta. It's debatable how exactly he compares to Strongest Form 1 Baby-Vegeeta, but he made Strongest Form 2 use effort, so it's looking likely that he's stronger than Strongest Form 1.

Although he got turned into chocolate by his own technique, he was able to attack Giant Monkey Baby-Vegeeta from inside of his body, which saved SS4 Gokuu and gave him time to gather energy from the others. Oob did better than anyone who wasn't Goku in the Baby arc. It's only in the Super Seventeen arc that things really go off-rails for him, being surpassed by SS1 Gokuu and even SS1/2 Vegeeta. One could also make a case for Gohan, Goten, and Trunks matching or surpassing him, too; they both fared about as well as he did against Super Seventeen. Against Yi Xing Long, Oob's arm was broken by a single punch and he could no longer fight at all after a blast to the face. SS1/2 Gohan took a punch from Yi Xing Long straight to the gut but was well enough to remain transformed and give his power to Gokuu. We later see Gohan fight Super Yi Xing Long alongside Goten and Trunks in their base forms to give their dads time to fuse. While they all take beatings, they're still able to fight Super Yi Xing Long as SS1/2 alongside Vegeeta after it looks like Gokuu has died. Oob was still too hurt to help out, so he flew off with Pan, Veedel, Chichi, Bulma, Mr. Satan, etc.

One could say Yi Xing Long merely held back against Gohan, Goten, and Trunks but that doesn't really make sense; why would Yi Xing Long hold back against everyone else when the context was that he was trying to stop Gokuu from powering up and later fusing? But then again, if Gohan, Goten, and Trunks are stronger than Oob because they could take hits from Yi Xing Long and still keep fighting, that would suggest they're SS4 level which makes no sense. And then, we have really stupid shit like Pan, Chichi, Bulma, Veedel, and Mr. Satan surviving blows from Yi Xing Long without taking any real damage. Honestly, GT's writing was terrible from the start, but post-Baby arc, it manages to get even worse. I don't recall Pan showing anything that would suggest she's at Oob's level, though.

Even if Oob is strong in the 28th Budokai, Super retconned him out of existence.

I was actually talking about how Tsuru used Chaozu to freeze Goku. If not for that Tenshinhan wouldn't have known Tsuru is evil.

Even if Oob is strong in the 28th Budokai, Super retconned him out of existence.

Oob appears twice in Super and helps Goku beat Moro.

Chaozu has done literally nothing and if Oob didn't buy time to allow the others to restore Super Saiyan 4 Goku's strength, they would have lost. Oob was integral to beating Baby. He's more useful on that basis alone.

Oob also saved Pan from being killed by the possessed Gohan in the Baby arc. He also killed Rilld in the Super Seventeen arc, saving Gohan.

And if he didn't buy time for the others to restore Gokuu's strength against Yi Xing Long in the Evil Dragons arc, then Yi Xing Long would have killed everyone.

Expected a Famalam thread.

Chazou is a more important chrcter in canon, for sure.
-Showed that Tien had some kindness
-Made the TB more interesting
-Pissed me off during the TB
-Allowed Tien to show that he had honour by asking Chazou to stop interfering
-Made me cry when he invented candy floss
-Made it easier to put Tien off-screen (would be weird and depressing if he's fully alone).

Take Yamcha's name outta your mouth
