Yeah, that could make sense since Goku was said to probably not be able to win against him if he was the same as he was before and what followed.

Some of the power-ups do seem more extraordinary than the numbers'd suggest, though.

Goku's power-up after training with Karin being below even 3x seems low, though. But that's personal preference, I guess.

Yeah I have him being 3x stronger, but your power-up isn't much different and works perfectly with Goku's feats in the Baba Tournament as well.

About on par with Akkuman. He did seem a bit threatened by Goku's Kamehameha and had his closed destroyed by it so the gap is likely smaller than Goku (Pre God Water) and ~50% Piccolo Daimao.

Well, Tao wasn't going all out so he could have higher his durability right before he said he would go all out so he wouldn't get knocked out. Like how Ten went from being hurt by Yamcha's attacks to tanking his WFF and Kamehameha.

Roshi's strength seemed to be retconned. Goku was pretty even with Roshi in the 21st Budokai, maybe even a bit stronger. Goku got stronger by fighting the RRA and MANY times stronger after Karin. Even so, Karin said Goku only perhaps surpassed Roshi lol.

Even Roshi said he MIGHT have been surpassed by Goku, despite Goku saying to him he got way stronger than before. If Roshi knew Goku got way stronger than before, it's obvious he was way surpassed. Maybe AT had a change of heart about Roshi's strength... maybe the 21st Budokai was too early to have Roshi already matched. With Gohan's stuff, it turned to be even hard, since Roshi said that even Son Gohan didn't get so far as Son Goku.

Unless, of course, Gohan got stronger in the other world, what I think it's likely, since it was mentioned by Baba that Son Gohan will be training in the afterlife.

At that time Roshi based that off of how Goku easily destroyed the RRA Base. The fact that he was so shocked of Goku's power in the Baba arc shows he underestimated him

Goku (Post-Karin) >= Grandpa Gohan >>>> Goku (Predicted) >= Mummy > Master Roshi

And yeah, Gohan probably trained.

Gohan trained in the afterlife imo, Baba wouldn't tell him to train some more when he goes back if he hadn't. I think Gohan was only almost as strong as 21st Roshi when he died, personally, since he was beaten easier than Goku was.
