Death-Note has tons of fantasy elements & I heard 20th-Century Boys does too. Paranoia-Agent too
in the end.

Also I mean with an over-arching story-line, like Monster or Detective-Conan (to an extent).

To be fair, a completely grounded in reality series will seldom be as interesting as one with supernatural elements.
Really? I feel it’s the opposite, especially if you bring-in actual history too. You can use real logic and it being something that could really happen adds to the creepiness.

Yeah. That’s the one I thought of. I think it’d be kewl if Anime used that type of story more, but I guess they think Live-Action might as-well do it.

A guy (American I think?) Who served in Japan at some point makes a comic about a bat detective that solves crimes and finds those crimes in the comic happening in real life.
