Character customization looks pretty sick from what little they've shown.

If it's true that the exp share is baked in then that's super lame. The mechanic is far too overpowered to be kept on for the entire game, there's no good reason to take away the option to turn it off unless the rate of exp gained is rebalanced. Pokemon X and Y had gym leaders approaching level 60 and it was still too good. Was probably a little better in Sun/Moon with the totems or whatever.

Truth be told, the cuts don't really bother me. The included roster is more than enough for me and while it would be fun to have every mon, I'd rather have a quality, unique experience.

The Charizard fapping is quite annoying though. Worst line of Gen 1 IMO.

Based on leaks for the Pokedex, the Charizard line is close to the end of it with pseudo-Legendaries like Dragonite, Hydreigon, etc. so I guess they're actually going to make the Charizard line some Victory Road Pokemon

It's more the weird selection in some parts of the roster that makes it seem off.

They completely removed the National Dex in Gen 7 in favour of a Pokemon Bank update allowing for Gen 6 entries of any Pokemon not in the Alola Dex.

Good thing Game Freak removed the tagline of Gotta Catch 'Em All long in advance.

There is no national dex. If a pokemon you want to transfer isn't in the Galar dex then you can eat shit because it's not coded into the game.

I'm concerned that as prolific as all the negative news is, people like SSJ2 who don't frequent message boards unlike him will just miss it completely and get blindsided by the lack of a national dex or the removal of options/features in general upon purchase of the game. By then it's too late, money talks.

You can still transfer older Pokemon through some new system they're making compatible with Pokemon Bank, so long as they're in the Galar Dex.
