Gotta say I am disappointed about the Nationak DeX. It's not like I give a fuck about every Pokemon, but I feel like this was the chance for Pokemon to take a huge leap. Most powerful system the games have ever been played on. They've had a pretty large development window as well. Nothing should be missing. This game should have all of that stuff and far more.

Not gonna write it off yet, but if the post-game is shitty in S&S, I will fail to see why these games will be superior to any of the past ones.

I went from being excited to hating it. This game is not on par with Zelda and Mario, and frankly Game Freak should be ashamed of their effort. They had prioritized that new RPG, and while that's cool, Pokemon is the flagship, the biggest game franchise of all time. Sadly, they know they don't have to make a stellar game for sales; they'll get them regardless.

Even if there's no national dex, making half the old Pokemon unavailable even via transfer was crazy stupid. They're clearly keeping that feature off the table for SwSh so they can make it a selling point for a future game, perhaps the D/P remakes.

From the 1 hour I’ve played, it feels no different than the Let’s Go games. I mean I hope I’m wrong about that, but the battles and graphics seem like a clone.
