Crobat is actually one of my favourite Pokémon. I agree Zubat is annoying... but... Crobat is just so cool.

I've used a Crobat in over half of my playthroughs or something in whichever games it was available in (so like all of them up until Gen V....which I barely played), so I can relate.

Man, when I was a kid the whole deal of "how do you get Mew??" was...for lack of a better word, big. One of my friends heard about the Old Sea Map or whatever the event item was called (for Emerald) and said you were supposed to get it from a store or something (like Toys R Us or Gamestop), although he wasn't privy to the details so I would keep asking "which town and when??", as in, which in-game town.

Probably Darkrai. Dark Void + Bad Dreams + Dream Eater/Nightmare. A cheap, predictable combo, but effective all the same.

However, I also need to give a good mention to the Patriotic symbol of Freedom Braviary. Whilst Gen V's designs get a lot of hate, Braviary is without a doubt an exception, especially after this:
