Here we go. Watching Dragonball with subs from the beginning.

Episode 1:
- actually humorous and not as cringey as I imagined. Fun for the whole family
- now I understand why GT and Super tries to return to "humorous" writing rather than Saiyans - Cell serious writing. Super and GT still fail hard because DB is already a whole lot better and I'm not even in the mood to watch it.
- 5 year old and 16 year old protagonists making puerile jokes well before Ren and Stimpy. Imagine if we were all exposed to this first.
- at my old age I'll stick to Future Trunks to GT era Bulma

Episode 2:
- Goku is fourteen, didn't hit his growth spurt yet I guess. (Obviously it's that while chibi artistic choice thing)
- "Kame is the turtle"

Nice. I only made it to episode 35 or so when I tried watching the anime. I definitely regret stopping. Maybe I'll join you on this.

Episode 3:
- "Scissors Paper Rock" is Goku's first special technique
- Nimbus Kinto Un is a helluva cloud
- fast forwarded past the Bulma scene due to kids around, Goku is a frisky little guy
- Pilaf has like a whole freakin kingdom, how did he become homeless?
- pilaf also has planet Earth's masterkey. (After an old school telegram ruse gone wrong)
- the door was unlocked
- Bulma must be busted up according to the cloud
- Goku survived an uzi clip no sweat

Episode 1 of Dragon Ball introduced us to the best, most powerful, influential, brilliant character in all of anime...

Episode 5
- Oolong with that child's voice screws me up. In the dub he sounds and acts like the Adam Corolla Pig in Drawn Together.
- Oolong panties ftw
- Even the fish are horny in this show
- Yamaha gets Yamcha'd in the first episode, damn this dude will die a virgin

Episode 6:
- Yamaha with one of his few W's in the last 36 years.
- Yamcha found the Dragon Balls :panties
- Damn another W for Yamaha, I'm not used to seeing this
- Yamaha got yamcha'd again what a suprirse

Episode 7:
- Goku has that motivation to meet someone just because they're strong early on
- not a good look on chi chi
- Yamaha beat up a girl, on of the few fights he won :punk
- Ox King is like 20 feet tall
- the pacing is pretty good, wonder when it slows down
- Now I understand that Goku's relationship with Chi Chi is out of duty and not love.
- pedo-Yamcha :facepalm
- Chi chi has a pure heart to ride nimbus (or "as clean as a flushed toilet 🚽")
- tail weakness wasn't just Raditz hax :panties
- Goku found out chi chi was a girl using science :bautista
