Everh time I read these spoilers I find less and less reason to care about this has-been manga lol

He's continued to say that we are coming closer to the end of the manga so it feels odd to waste time on this sort of filler instead of closing many other plot points that need to be addressed. It feels like he's going to have to rush everything else.

The most interesting part of this chapter is that the Gorosei appeared to be identical in Vegapunk's cover story from his younger days. Their bodies were completely shaded out but it seems pretty obvious. So they definitely have immortality or eternal youth.

Saying he one shot them doesn't even do it justice. He literally cuts through the same cannon Kid used to take out Big Mom, and takes out Kid, Killer and the ship.

So either Big Mom was never fully serious or Shanks is the strongest Yonko.

Shanks is straight down to business. Took no time and eradicated the crew. He's got a very good Kenbunshoku Haki to foresee the damage Kid's canon would do. I think the surprising factor added a lot to Kid getting one-shotted, he just didn't anticipate Shanks appearing there and had his mind all set into his attack, thus being off guard. It'd be nice to see how a Law and Kid combo would have changed the way it went up, Law seems more clever, less on the trigger and more calculating.

Do Law and Kid even have access to advanced armament? They certainly don't have advanced conquerors, putting them a massive step down from Shanks from the offset.

I do see Law more likely to survive his fight against Blackbeard than Kid's performance here.

I'm not sure if they do. Though it seems strange considering Zoro and even Yamato had advanced Haoshoku. I guess their devil fruit awakenings are so overpowered that they are meant to be their way of keeping up with the top tiers. Still, the fact that they were surviving attacks from both Kaido and Big Mom makes it all the more shocking to be put down in one hit, off guard or not.

Don't really follow the series much but damn, Garp has conquerors? Can't say I expected it.

I'm not sure the series has ever really gone into it having a genetic component, but it certainly seems likely.
