Yea the art has been brutal lately. Almost HxH level. Like this is the biggest war the franchise has seen, why is the art so inconsistent?

Not only this, but Kaido makes it apparent that only the strongest of people can even pull off the technique. Luffy wasn't anywhere near his current level during his training with Rayleigh, and having him focusing on the advanced applications of Haoshoku prematurely might have lessened his gains in Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku. Either would have resulted in him never making it to Wano.

The big takeaway from that chapter is that Big Mom is suddenly a morally righteous pirate lmfao

Also just realized that Page One took a Haoshoku infused punch from Big Mom, similar to the attack from Kaido that nearly killed G4 Luffy in their first fight. Page One better be gone for the rest of the arc lol.

Do you think my theory on Zoro using Haoshoku vs Mihawk is more valid now?

Not really. That's such an advanced ability that I just can't see him tapping into it that early in the game.

Espeically when he was so fatigued (or plot nerfed) that Usopp and Nami could stop him attacking them with basic poles .

I mean Law also took a Haoshoku infused attack from Kaido and was still conscious. It really just depends on the plot.

All of the guys fighting Kaido are leagues above the underlings.

But you mentioned G4 Luffy getting one shotted by Kaido. Law took that same attack (from a Hybrid Kaido no less) and was still standing.

Law > G4 Luffy pre training, as is everyone fighting Kaido now.
