If you think about the last war, how many 1v1 fights took up an entire chapter? The scale of this war is massive with 30,000 enemies. Some people will definitely get shafted. If you think back to past matchups like Alabasta or CP9, most of the fights were decided within a chapter or 2. The all stars deserve more time, but idk if they'll get more than several chapters.

I don't think the CP9 fights were this short though. I think the Nami vs Kalifa fight alone was 4+ chapters at least. With the Tobbi Roppo it just felt like they were created to give the less relevant straw hats a 1v1 they never got post-timeskip and call it a day. That's not bad in itself but it makes it more obvious when it feels like it's getting rushed to move the plot forward. I mean, Sasaki basically died from 1 laser beam despite being an ancient zoan user like Ulti.

Was it 4? I might be remembering wrong but I recall the cP9 fights being mixed within chapters. Like Nami vs Kalifa was only taking up part of the chapter until she was defeated. I might be wrong.

I agree that the implementation of the flying 6 sucked. They were thrust into the story with no buildup or backstory, giving little reason to care about them aside from possibly having cool devil fruits. Even those were hardly expanded on. They should've had a greater role in earlier Wano events as opposed to be introduced at the last minute.

@Future Warrior what do you think of this? The fan translation had it saying "Luffy will be one step closer to being Pirate King" or something along those lines. Viz makes it sound like he'll be the PK after the war.

Sanji's best attack would bounce off any of the Yonko lol.

He's going to overcome a commander in this war but Zoro has already proven himself against a Yonko.

Pretty cool chapter. It's nice to see Zoro and Sanji actually fighting together. Not sure why briefly using the raid suit would be affecting Sanji right now.

So apparently this red wall thing was real. I guess WB is saying the ancient kingdom used to live on top of the red line? So Raftel is up there?

King's race seem to be called Lunarians which obviously implies they are from the moon.

Kind of disappointed that Momo has now turned into an Oden clone but whatever.

Also Zoro is heavily implied to be a direct relative to that old Daimyo from Oden's time, and even to Ryuma himself. The former would be fine, but I really hope he's not related to Ryuma.

It would have been 10/10 if not for the implication of Zoro's heritage.

Luffy the son of Dragon, Sanji the prince of Germa, Usopp son of Yonko pirate, and now Zoro the descendant of Ryuma.

What's next? Nami the daughter of Xebec?
