Granolah doesn't want to make the same stupid wish that Zamasu did. Now speaking of Zamasu, this arc just makes that one even more of a stupid fever dream by establishing the precedent that you can just WISH yourself to be the strongest. :umad

Why couldn't they just have Granolah wish all the Super DBs to his location and make the wish upon that dragon? It's absolutely laughable that this run of the mill dragon could grant such a grand wish when Shenlong can't even revert SSJ1 tier androids back to humans :tapion2 :tapion2 :tapion2

I forgot Zamasu did it already. But he also fucked it up by merging with a mortal. :gay

Captain Cadaver @Kenshi @Fantastische Hure What do you think of this chain? Vegetto SSJB (Arc Zamasu) > Beerus > Granola (Current) > Merus = UI Goku (Current) = UI Moro >>> Moro (OG73I) > Vegeta SSJBE (Current) > Broly LSSJ > UI Goku (ToP) >= Jiren (Beyond Limits) > Moro (FP) > Jiren (FP) > Vermoud >> Vegeta SSJBE (Post Yadart)?

Beerus is far stronger.

Vegeta's implied to be stronger or as strong.

I don't really think Vegeta is stronger than he was at the end of the Moro arc, if he is then he probably got a rage hax from learning that Beerus GASLIGHTED Freeza into blowing up Planet Vegeta. I'm also starting to believe Shin's statement about Vegetto being stronger than Beerus was full of shit similar to the Broly statement, since it's pretty clear that Broly would get his ass mollywhooped by Beerus in a fight at this point. At this point I tentatively have PSSJB Gogeta on the same level as Hakai Beerus.

First we have the revelation that Namekians were from another universe pretty much conflicting with Piccolo's blood recognizing the environment of Planet Namek as the ancestral homeland of his people (despite him born on Earth as a Mazoku clansman), as well as the fact that Namek exists in Universe 6 as well
To be fair, we've yet to see the kind of environment that U6 Namek has, making it plausible that the Namekians migrated between these twin universes after leaving the other dimension and Rou Dai Kaioshin being aware of them in the Boo Arc makes it apparent the Namekian race has existed for over 75 million years, more than enough time for the environment of Namek to be something all Namekians would be naturally accustomed to even if not their original home.

As for SIAD's question on the scaling, I wouldn't say Vegeta should be any stronger than his Moro Arc self. Whis' statement doesn't really say much when the context was of fighters within U7 when Whis only questioned what might appear in the universe and bringing up people they already know such as Jiren or Broly would be redundant when Goku is questioning the existence of anyone he's not aware of, otherwise he wouldn't need to question there being others Whis knows who are stronger when Beerus had just stomped Vegeta. Until we get some more solid feats and statements, I wouldn't say Vegeta is currently a match for Jiren's full power.

Do you think Kenshi's theory possible? Shin and Goku do not know the true power of Beerus and the latter is more or less on the same level as Gogeta PSSJB?

Shin and Goku could not see well the combat between the Gods of Destruction, since it was filled with dust.

Beerus vs Champa were interrupted by Whis and Vados while they faced each other in the Anime, therefore they did not show their full powers.

The only thing that is, is that Vermoud is a Destroyer God who is insignificant next to Beerus, but it can be explained based on the fact that he was retreating.

If I was helping pick a Kami, I'd be like, yo, bro, just make one dragon ball. Cereal only has two.

I will say overall I like Granola as his character. He wants revenge but it's not silly revenge like I'm evil and I hate Goku. And I guess sacrificing his life for power is somewhat tragic, though will see if it sticks. Outside of that I don't know how much variety I expect for how Goku and Vegeta will fit into the story. There's not much faith there on my part. Goku will struggle will Ultra Instinct. Vegeta will tease a finish but will Ultimately be cucked.

But I have smidgen of interest only because of Granola so far. He's kind of different. I'm just hoping the script can remain so, too.

"[Granola]'s probably out to destroy Freeza's army too. That would be bad news for us."
"Yeah, since our end goal is to take control of the army."
"Exactly, gas"

I never noticed how awful the dialogue is until now.

I guess Granola's grudge against both the Saiyans and Freeza will force Galu/Vegeta into the story. I also don't have much faith in the execution. Goku and Vegeta don't even know who Granola is, so shoehorning them into his revenge will feel awkward at best. I guess it leaves the possiblity of Goku/Vegeta/Freeza teaming up to beat him, even though Freeza should logically be an ant compared to them. Maybe Goku and Freeza can potara fuse into Freeku :alex2

Goku and Vegeta have improved in this chapter. I do not know if his powers Peak, but if in ability. I would like to see a showdown between Goku vs Beerus.

I have had to live closely that someone deceives other people into hating someone innocent.

I think this panel summarizes the idiocy of Super perfectly.

The chapter further shows how the only thing Super can do with Galu's character is regress any experience he had in Z. A concept that's basically a more exaggerated version of Popo's teachings like Ultra Instinct should've been something Goku thought about incorporating into his base skillset quite quickly (especially with similar approaches he took to mastering SSJ), so Whis needing to point it out to him is highly juvenile. Vegeta's characterisation seems a bit off (though less so than usual) with him telling Goku to stay out of fighting Granolah despite him being fully aware that Goku and Saiyans in general won't pass up such an opportunity. On the subject of Vegeta, it also doesn't help that the training montage shows the flaw of the series' power creep with how completely destroying logs is meant to show a sense of progression, yet the visuals making the Hakai seem little different from a standard Ki explosion is highly underwhelming. At the very least, you could've had Vegeta disintegrating Katchi-Katchinko.
The only good thing about this arc continues to be the Heeters being manipulators that move the plot through more than just sheer power or hax techniques. Hopefully, they don't get sidelined as soon as the Goku/Vegeta VS Granolah events happen.

Yet another lacklustre chapter with poor pacing.

Best part of the chapter was Boris punching Vegeta in the head.

Vegeta comes pretty close whenever both continuities try to regress him back to his Cell Arc self as well as how DBS Broly destroyed Freeza with his asinine reasons for giving up on gaining immortality, though at least Vegeta returns to his post-Boo characterisation now and again and Freeza hasn't had his core elements ruined a dozen times.

Well, I like the villains just gaslighting everyone into fighting.

It’s Toriyama writing, Toyo just draws:shc

Captain Cadaver @Kenshi @Fantastische Hure What do you think of this chain? I’d say

Vegetto Blue >= Beerus (Kaioshin’s expectations) >=< Beerus (post secret training) > Merus = UI Goku = Angel Moro > Jiren = Quitela >= Beerus (Before) >= Belmond >>> 7-3 Moro >= Moro (Full Power) = UIO Goku (Post Merus) > UIO Goku (ToP) >> SSJBE Vegeta

I think full power UI is a constant, and Goku gets stronger with UI Omen because he’s getting close to the perfect version of it. Beerus also probably has done training in secret since the ToP to keep up.

I don’t know how strong Vegeta has become as of now. Why do you think he’s stronger than Broly? Isn’t Broly stronger than Beerus?

Also in this chapter Beerus says the ring on his ear means he mastered Hakai. Does this imply the gods without rings are the weaker ones?
