I’m not sure why you’d want to see an anime series anyway. A series’s have less involvement from AT percentage wise, where-as at-least the movies are seemingly 100% written by him if I understand correctly.Toei have enough material to animate this story. What's taking them so long? Don't they see any value on anime anymore and prefers to do movies instead? It's not like they can pull Broly box office numbers with just the brand value alone.
I'm not really interested about whether the show is canon or not. I'm interested on being entertained and if toei can make the recent arcs better than what Toyotaro did. Also ww can have more discussions like we used to a couple years ago whether we agree or disagree about the show.I’m not sure why you’d want to see an anime series anyway. GT is literally light years better than DBSI thought you’d be interested about that kind-of stuff considering you seem to hate DragonBall GT so bad, but OK.
This arc is finishing
Those Dragonballs are on some ways even better than the Super ones, at least those had a year charge time.I was away when the last chapter was released so I'm late to the party.
First, I can't stress enough how much I hate the contrivance of these new dragon balls. It's been clearly established that the larger the dragon balls, the more powerful they are. And yet these marbles can make someone the strongest in the universe. But more than that, its the idea that 1) they were written into the story at the exact time they were needed for the plot. 2) There are only two of them. 3) They are able to be used again right away instead of needed a cooling off period. These break every rule that's been established for the dragon balls since the series came out in the 80's. Worse yet, we have no explanation as to why. They just exists. Nothing special that we know of. Its all for the sake of the plot.
As for this chapter in particular, I have problems with the faux tension of Gas vs Granola. So Gas is more powerful but hasn't learned how to use it yet, but I don't see how that's an issue. The exact same thing happened one chapter ago with Granola vs Vegeta, and Granola figured out his abilities within five minutes of Vegeta stating as much. So shouldn't Gas do the same? A couple more punches and he should be good to go.
Lastly, these stupid dragon balls better be destroyed by the end of the story otherwise what prevents this from happening over and over. In fact, can't someone else go and get them right now since they are primed for use already???
this is comedic. Two underdeveloped and bland OC's fighting each other for multiple chapters. Bravo Super. It's not much but since things have been quiet, here's the first preview of Chapter 80. The double kick in this picture looks like some dumb shit I'd draw when I was in 4th grade with Spider-Man and Wolverine fighting each other.
This arc makes me miss Moro. At that shit threw everything at you and said fuck it. This one feels like its moving at a snails pace.
Super Saiyan White and Super Saiyan PurpleDouble Post:
I don't know if this went up yet, but these are the confirmed colors for Ultra Ego. Apparently this is some official promo art. Honestly, I didn't picture purple at all with this (though I guess I should have). I liked his hair being black in the Manga. Something closer to base form. Should have known better.
Aura, yes. Hair, no.Didn’t Top gain purple aura or something in the anime? I just always assumed UE was gonna be purple.
He's bald tho. For some reason hair that's not on the scalp or eyebrow tends to be ignored when it comes to color changes, like Galu and Bardock's tail fur lolAura, yes. Hair, no.
